Molly Encourages Kristina to Go to Medical School — Plus, Justine Has Bad News for Jordan and Curtis!

Outside of Bobbie’s, Molly is stunned when Kristina reveals she got into UCLA’s medical school. They head into Bobbie’s, and Molly announces to everyone that he sister just got accepted into med school, and the customers applaud.
What Are Kristina’s Reservations?
The sisters grab a table, and Molly assumes her sister has been working on this for months. Kristina explains she used every bit of time she could grab to study. Nobody knows about this, and she doesn’t want them to.
Kristina explains that she only did it to challenge herself and see if she could, but she’s not actually going to med school. Molly doesn’t buy it, and with some pushing, Kristina finally admits that this all started when they lost their baby.
Kristina confesses that when she was in the hospital after the accident, she didn’t care about anything, but her doctors cared about her, and that kept her going. She wants to be that for someone else; she wants to make a real and measurable difference in someone’s life. However, she’s still not going to medical school, leaving Molly flabbergasted.
Kai Is Worried for Trina
Nearby, Kai meets up with Emma, who explains that Gio had to meet his grandfather. Kai wanted to give them a heads-up that Trina’s family is in trouble. He fills her in on what happened with Curtis and Isaiah, and that Trina is caught between her parents.
Kai says they can’t cancel or postpone the showcase, given that Brook Lynn has busy execs coming out, and he’s worried Trina won’t be able to concentrate. Emma suggests Trina use the family drama to really inspire and push her singing, which Kai says could work.
Ric’s On the Warpath!
At GH, Ric finds Liz in a bed icing her head, and she explains what happened with Britt. Ric launches into how he wants to file a lawsuit against Britt and the hospital. Liz refuses to sue Britt or the hospital, and all she is concerned about is Rocco.
Did Portia Just Withhold Evidence?
In Portia’s office, Justine meets with her and Isaiah to get their accounts of the event. Curtis’ arraignment is today, and she hasn’t decided whether to press charges. Isaiah recounts the fight through flashbacks. He claims he did not throw the first punch, he’s not a violent man, and when asked, says he didn’t provoke Curtis.
Justine asks Portia if she agrees with Isaiah’s account, and she does, calling Curtis a madman. Like Isaiah, she does not mention Isaiah goading Curtis. Portia explains that the damage Isaiah sustained to his hand has caused him to cancel several important, specialized surgeries, and it’s proving difficult to find a replacement. Plus, he could possibly be looking at the end of his career.
Justine thanks them and says she’ll be in touch. Alone, Isaiah thanks Portia for backing him up. Now, he has something more difficult to do.
Lulu and Dante Worry About Rocco
At Lulua’s, she wonders if they should bring in the FBI and accuse Britt of kidnapping, but Dante fears that the WSB would likely find out about Rocco running from the FBI, which would clearly make its way straight to Cullum. Dante ponders that Britt may have found out Cullum figured out Rocco shot him, and that’s why she ran with him.
Dante admits he was close to calling his dad the other day to help the three of them disappear, and it was thanks to a talk from “Nathan.” Lulu is glad they are on the same page now, and rants that this is the second time Britt has stolen Rocco from them.
Gio Learns Rocco’s Run Off
Gio stops by Sonny’s office and learns about Rocco running away with Britt. Sonny asks if he has any information, but he doesn’t. Gio reveals Rocco doesn’t trust him after a recent incident, which he fills Sonny in about. He fears his betrayal is the reason Rocco felt he had to turn to Britt. Sonny says he doesn’t know that, and Rocco could have run off with Britt anyway, so telling Dante was the right thing to do.
Who Does Sonny Call to Save the Day?
Later, Sonny meets Dante and Lulu at Lulu’s house. Dante asks what route Jason would take to Canada, as they think Britt might have taken the same, and want to follow her. Sonny says that’s a bad idea, as he knows Rocco’s in trouble and something bad went down on that pier, but they would only lead Cullum and the WSB to their son. He says he’s contacted an associate of his who will find Rocco and Britt for them.
Trina Needs Answers
Trina stops by to see Jordan, who invites her in. She’s there to find out what happened between her dad and Isaiah. Curtis walks in and says he punched Isaiah for a good reason.
They all sit down, and Curtis explains his theory about Isaiah being the driver of the other car. Curtis says Isaiah denied it and also told him that he’d be a better father to his child than Curtis, and that’s when he punched him. Trina asks how much trouble he’s in.
Curtis admits his arraignment is today, and Justine could press charges. However, Jordan believes her friend is fair and will see that it was a heated argument on both sides, and Isaiah provoked Curtis.
Will Curtis Ever Give It Up?
Trina heads out, and Jordan and Curtis feel terrible that the young woman is stuck in the middle again. Jordan says that, maybe, for everyone’s sake, they should let go of this idea that Isaiah left the scene. Curtis refuses.
Curtis won’t let her sacrifice justice for herself to maintain peace in his family. Jordan insists she’s not; she just wants them to move forward and not get stuck in that night and make it her whole identity. Curtis finally agrees to try for her.
Back at Bobbie’s
Gio meets up with Emma, who is furious to learn Rocco went on the run with Britt, just when she thought Britt was redeeming herself.
Meanwhile, Molly wants answers from Kristina as to why she’d pass this opportunity up. Kristina says the Corinthos-Davis house is finally taking off, and she just reopened Charlie’s. Plus, UCLA is far away. When Molly still hasn’t heard a valid reason, Kristina blurts out, “I’m afraid of starting school and not finishing it!”
Over at General Hospital
Isaiah runs into Kai, who has brought one of his old game balls for his patient Derek. Isaiah explains it’s not a good time for a visit as he just told Derek and his family the surgery will have to be postponed, and he honestly doesn’t know if Derek will be okay.
Isaiah blames himself for provoking Curtis, but Kai says this is on Curtis. Isaiah still feels he should have kept his mouth shut, as now Derek is suffering.
What Does Trina Ask of Her Mother?
Trina shows up to see her mom in her office and says she just came from Jordan and her dad’s place. Trina is hoping they can find a way to move forward and save their family. Portia leaps to Isaiah’s defense, saying this is on Curtis and that Isaiah may never be able to operate again. His career could be over, and it’s not fair to ask him to forgive and forget.
Trina admits she’s worried about her dad, but also that she and her baby brother or sister will be stuck in this mess unless Isaiah shows her father mercy.
Can Liz and Ric Make It?
Back in Liz’s room, Ric apologizes for overreacting, but notes that every time it’s going well for them, something happens, which, yes, is usually his fault. She tells him she’s sorry he was worried about her, but she has a good feeling about them this time. She thinks they’ll make it.
In The Show’s Final Moments
Gio tells Emma he thinks Rocco is making a choice he thinks is best for himself, and he has to have faith in him. She says he’s always able to see the best in the worst situations, and his positivity will likely help his dad right now. They kiss.
Kristina knows she starts things and doesn’t see them through; she’s a flake. Molly points out that she saw her center and Charlie’s through. She also committed to their daughter, and if the memory of her fueled this desire, then she has faith she’ll see this through.
Sonny tells Lulu he’s hired Brick (of course!) to track down Rocco and Britt, and Dante assures Lulu that Brick is good at his job. Lulu agrees to try Sonny’s way and asks him to keep them updated.
Liz and Ric discuss Rocco and Britt’s situation, and Liz explains that Dante came to her about the issue Rocco has been having. She really feels for Dante, who is such a good man and dad, right now. Ric says, “And Lulu too?” She mumbles, “mmm hmm,” as she closes her eyes and ices her head. Ric is clearly bitten by the jealousy bug!
Trina finally connects with Kai, only to learn he didn’t get to see Derek because of the bad news Isaiah had to give the boy. Kai says that because of her dad, Derek could die.
Finally, Jordan is about to put on her giant head scarf when Justine stops by. Justine knows she and Curtis are on the way to the arraignment, and she wanted to give her a heads up. Curtis emerges, and Justine is sorry, but Curtis is going to be charged with felony assault and battery.
On the next episode of General Hospital, Portia turns to Tracy and Brook Lyn for the Quartermaine type of help with something…Curtis tells Michael he could be looking at serious legal trouble. Willow tells Drew she’s working on something to free them both. On the phone, Sidwel orders someone to be found and brought back immediately!
