“Behind the Fame: Nancy Lee Grahn Endures Life-Changing Surgery to Remove Cancer”
As pet owners, there’s nothing worse than when one of our furry family members gets sick. They can’t tell us what’s wrong, which would make things so much easier, so a visit to the vet is what it takes to make sure they get the care they need. General Hospital’s Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) has a pup that was in need of just that, which led to Dilly having to have surgery, and now the ABC soap fave has given followers an update on her special girl.
“Dilly’s surgery went great!” Grahn shared on her official Instagram, along with a photo of her sweet dog recovering in bed with a cone on her head, a couple of blankets to make her comfy and a few toys nearby for when she feels up to playing. “They cut the mean old cancer out and we’ve made her as comfortable as possible. Two weeks in the cone of shame and then we party.”

Fans couldn’t get enough of the adorable pic and immediately sent Dilly their get well wishes. And we too hope that her road to recovery is a speedy one. And hey, before you know it, she’ll be back trying to sneak a treat like she was caught doing last December during the holidays — that is, before Grahn snapped this sweet shot and stated, “Nice try, Dillon.”
