Ric shows up at Sonny’s to head to the funeral with him, which makes the fight with Carly even worse. Sidwell’s just going to flip out when he sees them, and she doesn’t want the funeral to turn into a mob war while her brother’s grieving!

But Sonny’s gonna do what Sonny’s gonna do. This is just proper decorum, and he can show Sidwell that he has nothing to hide and he didn’t kill Marco. Carly gets the logic, but points out that grief has nothing to do with logic. She walks out, having not budged her ex in the slightest.

Can Alexis Get Through to Danny?

Alexis gets off the phone with Danny’s principal — he’ll be suspended for a week — and tells the teen that this is not gonna fly in her house. She decides this is more important than the funeral and tells her grandson that he’s not grounded, but he is going to do chores.

Alexis tells Danny the truth GH

She has Danny walk her through what happened and it boils down to Hank taunting him about Jason’s arrest, and Danny just wanting to hit something. Alexis gets it, but fighting isn’t the answer — at least not physically. Danny offers to keep his act together if she can bring his dad home.

That’s not how it works, but good try, kid. Alexis is doing everything she can already, and she can’t promise he’ll see his dad again. Danny’s disappointed, but appreciates Alexis’ honesty. She reminds him that he’s not alone. His family loves him so much, so don’t shut them out.

Cody’s There for Molly

Kristina visits Molly before her surgery — and they end up talking about Charlie’s re-opening and what’s next for Kristina! They don’t get far before Kristina has to head to the funeral and Molly into the operating room.

Afterwards, she wakes up delightfully loopy to find Cody. “Are you holding my hand?” she asks happily. He is! Since she’s dreaming she can say whatever she wants! “Kiss me?” So he kisses her.

Lucas Mourns In His Own Way

Marco’s funeral has finally arrived, as Lucas laments to his lost love in the church that this was all his fault. But he swears “on my life and on my heart that they are not going to get away with this.” When Jenz joins him, they agree that they don’t have much choice but to keep going, and Lucas assures Marco’s dad that his son loved him.

Lucy reminds Lucas he’s loved and hopes he doesn’t plan on leaving town again. He’s not. He has things to take care of… Next up is Isaiah, who wishes he could have done more and tells Lucas that he was where he needed to be. (Saving the life of Marco’s murderer.)

Will Sonny Make a Scene?

Laura surprises Ava at the church, showing up because it’s “the right thing to do” as mayor. Then Ezra pops in and Ava skedaddles as he jumps right into gloating over how well the press conference she didn’t want to do went.

Jordan, meanwhile, offers her own condolences to Sidwell, but can’t give him much from the police. Forensics is still analyzing evidence and there’s no definitive suspect yet — which is not what he wants to hear!

Carly gets to the church to comfort Lucas and promise him that Jason and Sonny had nothing to do with it, which Lucas knows. Oh, he knows. Then, as Kristina offers her condolences to Sidwell, Sonny and Ric arrive for a stare-down. But it’s time for the funeral to start and Ava pulls Sidwell away

Can Curtis and Nina Forgive Each Other?

Curtis drops into Nina’s office, trying to keep things short and businesslike, which upsets Nina. She apologizes for what she did to Portia and how it affected Curtis and the two finally talk things out. Curtis owns up to what he did to Nina and Willow and, after some convincing, the two manage to hash things out. They both miss each other, so time to repair their friendship!

That settled, they talk about how good things are going with Curtis and Jordan (It’s paradise!) and Drew’s “stroke.” (Strange how it tied Willow to him more tightly than ever.)

In the Show’s Final Moments

Molly wakes again, this time loopiness gone, not remembering her “dream” at all. She just remembers being happy Cody was there. They get to planning their vacation as they wait for the nurse to discharge Molly.

The funeral wraps (not that we got to see it, Ava says Lucas found the right words about Marco) and everyone says their farewells. Carly tries putting Lucas up at the Metro Court, horrified to hear Lucas is back in Wyndemere. “Jenz is the only person who hurts the way that I do.” He needs to stay close. Very close. For now.

Ava offers to stay, but Sidwell asks for a minute alone. Once it’s just him, Sonny and Ric head back into the chapel and close the door behind them. The three men face off, but Sidwell doesn’t buy Sonny’s condolences. “I don’t believe for a second that you’re sorry. But you will be.”
