We’ve got a July General Hospital sweeps preview to pass along, so let’s discuss all the chaos to come.
For starters, Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) attempt to frame Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) for fleeing from Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) car crash will come with some challenges.
Brook Lynn will bond with Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) after his participation in Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) music showcase brings a new musical opportunity of his own.
Unfortunately, Brook Lynn’s connection with Gio could take a huge hit once her lies start to unravel.
Since Brook Lynn’s frame-up plot is doomed, she’d better start preparing herself for the big confession she’ll ultimately have to make to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
In the meantime, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will feud over Deception control, which could give Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) a chance to get tangled up in the corporate action upon her return.
We should also talk about GH’s 16,000th episode, which will feature the return of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and the debut of a new character named Tristan Rogers (Dean Geyer) on July 13.
Fans can also expect to see an older version of Scout Quartermaine this July when Kayden Brenna Tokarski takes over as a recast.
Troy Lennon Appel will also make his debut as a businessman named Hudson on July 30, so the show’s adding plenty of new faces to the mix.
As for Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), she’ll go into labor after a heated confrontation.
The new baby’s arrival could be what brings Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) back to town, where he’ll catch up with Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) and all his loved ones.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will have to contemplate a plea deal in the coming weeks, but it won’t be an easy decision.
It’ll mean choosing between a short prison sentence or potentially a much longer one if he takes the risk of going to trial.
Kai Taylor’s (Jens Austin Astrup) former friend, Quinn (Jequan Jackson), will pop back up as well, so look for him to try making amends with Kai and Trina for his past behavior.
Trina could also have a stalker mess in her future since she’ll become the victim of some unwanted attention following her music showcase.
While Cassius Faison aka “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) faces exposure and risks all for a final farewell with James West (Gary James Fuller), Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) downfall should be imminent.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) could get some help from Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and maybe even the head of the WSB himself soon enough.
Z will be blown away by Josslyn after things take a bloody turn on Spoon Island, where Cullum may face a grisly outcome after trying to run with the cold fusion project research.
