Carly Finds Proof Joss Is at Wyndemere — Plus, With Sidwell Gone, Cullum’s First Order of Business Is to Eliminate Agent Jacks!

At the hospital, Nina rushes into an exam room to check on “Nathan,” who is waiting to be checked out for his very real assault in letting Sidwell escape. “Nathan” feels bad about what happened, and how this tarnishes James’ hero image of him. Nina says James will always look up to him and that he loves him so much.

“Nathan” appreciates that and slips, saying, “Who knew you’d turn out to be so loving and supporting.” A stunned Nina asks why he’d say that, as she’s always been his biggest supporter. He claims he’s a little foggy from getting hit in the head. Oops, Cassius is slipping!

Boys Night Plus One

James, Cody and Molly have a campfire going at the Quartermaine docks and lake and roast some marshmallows. Maxie and the others are on a family trip, and James stayed behind so he didn’t miss Little League. James asks if Cody will come watch him play, but Cody can’t and explains he’ll be on Molly’s book tour.

Kristina Shares Her Good News

At Alexis’, she and Sonny worry as Kristina wanted to see them both. Alexis fears it’s bad news, but Kristina walks in and tells them it’s not, and she’s going to medical school. Obviously, Alexis and Sonny are stunned, and Kristina explains it’s something she’s been thinking about since losing her baby. She found out while studying for the MCATs, which she got a really high score on, how much she loves it. Then comes the hard part: she tells them she’s going to UCLA and leaves tomorrow to start a shadowing program.

Kristina insists she’s put a lot of thought into this and is excited for the challenge. Sonny notes she sounds passionate and this is great news. Alexis also supports her if this is what she wants.

Kristina informs them that Lucas is going to take over her advisory role at the Corinthos-Davis Center, and Sonny and Alexis learn she talked to Michael, Molly, and Lucas about this before them. She explains she needed to make sure she wanted this for herself, and not to meet their expectations. Sonny and Alexis tell her how proud they are of how hard she’s worked since the death of the baby to rebuild her life. Tears flow all around.

Valentin Asks a Favor of Charlotte

Outside Bobbie’s, Danny texts Charlotte to meet. Charlotte gets it as she arrives to see her dad at Carly’s, as he also summoned her. She wonders if it’s time for them to leave Port Charles. He says no, and she is glad, as she doesn’t want to leave her Mom with what’s going on with Rocco. Valentin wanted to see her as he needs her to stay away from Danny.

Valentin feels the boy is a loose cannon and takes too many risks, which is why Charlotte argues she needs to stay by his side, to protect him. Valentin says that, hopefully, soon he won’t be a fugitive and they can live their lives together. He asks her to be patient and careful. He also asks stop taking risks like going to Spoon Island. He makes her promise, which she does.

Later, Charlotte naturally meets up with Danny outside of Bobbie’s, and says her dad just warned her to stay away from him. She promised her dad she’s stay safe, but not away from him. Danny says he just found out Jenz is on the run, so he wants to search Wyndemere for evidence his dad is innocent. Charlotte flat out tells him no.

Cullum’s In Charge!

Carly turns up at Wyndemere and finds Ava in the study where they’ve both been ushered into. The place is swarming with WSB, and Ava breaks the news that Jenz is a wanted fugitive after trying to kill Lucas. Carly is confused, and Ava explains it appears Jenz thought Lucas had something to do with Marco’s murder.

Cullum walks in and explains he asked Ava here tonight about her dealings with Sidwell. The WSB Director wonders whether Ava might know where Sidwell fled. Ava says they weren’t that close, and she was just his art dealer. She had no idea he was capable of doing something so reprehensible. Carly yells at her that it’s because all she saw were dollar signs on the empty walls, not the truth in front of her face about Sidwell.

Cullum dismisses Ava and then tells Carly he’s not done with her. He questions her whether Lucas or Jack may have told her anything about Sidwell he should know. Carly says Lucas didn’t, and Jack’s secrets are the reason they broke up.

They’re interrupted when Denise, the head housekeeper, shows up. She found a ring while straightening the living room, which Carly immediately recognizes as Joss’s. Denise suggests it might belong to one of the women from Deception. Cullum puts it on the table, thanks Denise, and sees her out.

Carly tells Cullum he’s wasting his time talking to her when he should be searching for Sidwell. She taunts him, saying he and Jack have been working on this case for a year and have gotten nowhere, and they almost got her brother killed. Annoyed, Cullum tells her to go.

Will Obrecht Finish Faison’s Project?

In their cell, Obrecht is looking at Britt’s work on a laptop, calling her daughter a genius. She believes she could have the prototype running in a week. Joss says she can’t give Cullum and Sidwell that machine, but Obrecht fears if she doesn’t, they’ll kill Cassius.

Joss says the second Cullum and Sidwell get what they want, they’ll kill them all, including Cassius. When Obrecht notes Joss couldn’t care less if her son died, Joss says Cassius has done awful things, but is not all bad, and he seems to want out. The only reason he’s stuck around is to save Britt. He also cares about her and James, as he got caught up in becoming Nathan; he fell in love with his brother’s life. Obrecht is shocked to learn Cassius confessed this to her.

As they bicker over this device falling into Sidwell and Cullum’s hands, the WSB director interrupts. He informs them Sidwell made a foolish error and has departed, leaving him in charge. His first order of business is eliminating Joss, and he pulls out the same knife he used to kill Marco. Joss says she won’t make it easy for him, and uses Obrecht’s laptop as a shield.

Back at the hospital, Ava interrupts “Nathan” and Nina, who are arguing as “Nathan” is tired of waiting for the doctor and wants to leave. She was looking for Lucas, and she asks “Nathan” about Sidwell’s escape. “Nathan” says Nina can fill her in, and he takes off.

The ladies head to Café Cherie for cocktails, and it kills Ava to admit it, but Carly was right. Nina asks, “How strong is that drink?” Ava says she knew Jenz was dangerous, but she pursued him anyway, and almost got Lucas killed. Fortunately, Ava says she doesn’t have to worry about the bastard anymore, but Nina worries her friend could still be in danger.

Carly returns home frantic and tells Valentin she was right, and Joss is being held at Wyndemere, informing her of Joss’ ring. Unfortunately, the place is swarming with WSB agents. She begs him to help her go get Joss.

In The Show’s Final Moments

On the docks, Cody returns to Molly and their fire after getting James back to Felicia. He thanks her for hanging out with them on guys night. She says a wise man once said there is a lot of joy in seeing someone you love happy. He realizes she overheard him and thinks he’s wise. They get passionate.

At Alexis’, Sonny wishes Kristina luck and heads out. Alexis is in tears. She wants her daughter to be happy, but she’s going to miss her so much. Kristina says she’ll miss her too, and they embrace.

Outside of Bobbie’s, Charlotte tells Danny they need to wait a few days for the search for Jenz to die down before going back to Wyndemere. Danny says maybe her dad is right and he’s reckless. She notes, “Good thing you have a friend like me!”

At the cafe, Ava tells Nina she is sure that Sidwell is on another continent, but Nina says he’s desperate now and who knows what he’ll do next!

In the secret room, as Joss prepares to defend herself, Cassius arrives right on time. He tells Ross he’ll have to kill him before he can kill Joss. Obrecht says that if Cullum does that, then she won’t be able to finish her project if she’s grieving her son’s death.

At home, Valentin tells Carly he thinks Britt was working on the cold fusion project at Wyndemere, and that now, with Cullum in charge, the castle will be locked up tight. They need to be careful, and he foolishly thinks Cullum not having another scientist to finish it buys them some time.

Finally, Cullum says that Obrecht and Cassius are delaying the inevitable, and he will take Joss out immediately if she interferes with the project. Cullum leaves, and Joss thanks Cassius for saving her life again. Cassius asks if his mother can complete the prototype. She can, if he wants her to. He doesn’t, but they don’t have any other options.

On the next episode of General Hospital, Kristina meets with Molly. Ethan again insists to Alexis that this be a closed adoption. Justine warns Chase that if he puts one toe out of line, he’s gone! In the PCPD interrogation room, Sonny tells someone to stop pushing him for answers they don’t want. Tracy goes berserk and orders Willow to stay away from her family!
