Adam breaks bad news to Chelsea

Matt Clark has been tormenting the Newmans for months now, but is it all about to end for him, or one of his victims? In the latest Young & Restless preview, it doesn’t look good for poor drug-addicted Nick, and dare we say, Matt is going to live to see another day?

Walking Into Matt’s Trap!

Not listening to Adam’s warning, Sharon and Noah followed Matt’s message, leading them to an abandoned gas station, where, you guessed it, they were taken hostage!

Meanwhile, Adam and Nick, the latter still struggling with his addiction and withdrawals, got Matt’s location from Riza, who confirmed it was a trap she was supposed to lure them into. They had no choice but to pursue Matt, and had Riza claim to their tormentor that they had returned to Genoa City. Matt thought he was in the clear to have his fun with Noah and Sharon…

Next week, as they head to save Sharon and Noah, Adam can see Nick’s got a monkey on his back and tells him to pop the pills he needs to get through this, probably figuring they’ll deal with his addiction later. But will there be a later?

Will Nick Overdose?

Also coming up, Matt sits in his car watching a live feed of Nick and Adam’s rescue gone wrong and chuckles, “Little Rich Boy Newman finally hit on the bad batch. What a shame.” Seems like Nick got a tainted batch of drugs!

Finally returning to the hotel in Vegas, Chelsea is relieved to see Adam and asks about Nick… Note the look on Adam’s face in the preview video! Now we don’t think Nick is dead, but he has for sure gotten himself into a gravely serious situation thanks to Matt’s games.

Read the Young & Restless spoilers to find out who Chelsea teams up with, and what Sharon calls into question.
