This Is Not a Drill! Bold & Beautiful’s Lisa Yamada Back On the Soap’s Set — and She’s Not the Only One

There are ghosts in the halls of The Bold and the Beautiful. Either that, or our eyes weren’t deceiving us on March 23. When we got a look at the photos from the soap’s 39th anniversary party on the set, among the attendees was none other than Lisa Yamada, who played the supposedly “late” Luna Nozawa (and earned an Emmy for her efforts, thank you very much!).
Of course, the actress could have just been there for the celebration. Or perhaps Luna is about to haunt onetime victim Miss Dylan now that she’s getting cozy with the object of the psycho’s obsession, Will. Or maybe the villainess isn’t nearly as dead as executive producer/headwriter Bradley Bell would like us to believe. TBD.
Also on hand for the festivities was Christian Weissmann, whose Remy has been absent from the canvas for so long, we were ready to file a missing-persons report. Here’s hoping that the character has done the work to win himself a second chance with estranged boyfriend Deke.
As you can see below, Laneya Grace and Sydney Bullock were quick to demonstrate that they get along far better than “frenemies” Electra and Dylan. Producer Cynthia J. Popp and Rebecca Budig (Taylor) couldn’t resist the opportunity to take a snap with OG John McCook (Eric). And who could blame them?
And it would appear that the theme of the celebration was “Let them eat cake!”
Over the course of Yamada’s 2023-25 stint on Bold & Beautiful, she took Luna from sweet-as-pie to indefatigably deranged. The character murdered two people in hopes of keeping Dollar Bill as her sugar daddy, locked Steffy in a cage, tied up Miss Dylan in a closet, cheated death (thanks, Grandma Li!), only to emerge on the other side no mellower: The first thing she did was rape Will. Boss Bell has said that Luna is really, most sincerely dead. But he’s led us to believe the same about Sheila and Finn at one time or another, too. So color us skeptical!
Weissmann was introduced to the canvas in 2024 as Electra’s old friend… and stalker. After he posted fake nudes of her online, he realized that all of his acting out had been but a ruse to keep him from accepting the fact that he’s gay. Unfortunately, his past misdeeds made it impossible for Deke to see a future for them anymore — at least at first.
