The Young and the Restless Week of June 15 Update: Diane’s Escape Fails, Matt’s Unexpected Move

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of June 15-19 indicate that Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) won’t be able to score her freedom.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also take a victory lap.

Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) gears up for whatever Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wants him to do next but expect an unexpected move!

After Diane wakes up in a strange house she doesn’t recognize, she’ll make a failed escape attempt.

It won’t be long until Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns) appears and tries to trick Diane into believing she’s suffered a breakdown.

Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) will also work on getting Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to believe this breakdown story and will pretend Diane’s off at a clinic getting treatment.

We’ll also see Patty threaten Diane’s safety as she tries to manipulate Jack into being with her.

Jack could be forced into some version of a romance with Patty if he wants to ensure Diane’s survival and try to score intel to find her.

Other Y&R spoilers say Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will pump Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) for information about her Chancellor deal with Victor and complain over Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) running it.

Speaking of Cane, he’ll land in tense territory with Devon Winters (Bryton James) again.

Devon may make it clear that if Cane breaks Lily’s heart or does anything to harm Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) legacy, they’re going to have a big problem.

Since Phyllis accepted Victor’s Arabesque offer, she’ll let Cane know his old company belongs to her now.

Cane may pretend it doesn’t bother him and argue that Arabesque is worthless now that Victor decimated it.

Even so, Phyllis will predict she’s going to achieve great things with Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) by her side.

Later, Phyllis will make an intriguing discovery.

There’ll be some information that lands in Phyllis’ lap, so she’ll try to make it work to her advantage.

As Nikki’s health issues continue, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will get even more worried about her and may share her fears with Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) eventually.

Nikki will have a doctor’s appointment sooner or later, but she may talk to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and get his opinion first in the coming episodes.

In the meantime, Victor will have more instructions for Matt.

Although Matt will remain uneasy about duping Cane as part of the Newmans’ revenge scheme, Victor will push him to stick to the plan.

Over with Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun), she’ll refuse to let Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) mess with her or make moves on Noah Newman (Lucas Adams).

Sienna will stand up to Audra and perhaps stir up trouble when it comes to her Los Angeles secrets.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sienna will prove she’s willing to get down in the mud, so stay tuned for any bad news that might be brewing for Audra.
