Michael Plans to Betray Brook Lynn For His Own Gains — Plus, Ava and Alexis’ Trip to New York Pays Off!

Ava and Alexis arrive at the gallery in New York, and Alexis makes sure Ava doesn’t give up too much information about Delilah or drop the Quartermaine name. Ava says she knows how to play it cool, and she’s taking this seriously.

Can Apollo Help Ava and Alexis?

Apollo (played by Maxwell Caulfield) appears, is clearly acquainted with Ava, and tells her that she’s stunning as always. Apollo hears she’s building a collection for Sidwell, and has some lovely pieces in the back he might like. Ava thanks him, but she’s here about another wealthy client, whose interest is in a woman who may have worked for him, Delilah Wilson.

Apollo was sorry to hear about her death, and she did work for him a while back. She had a knack for selling paintings to very rich clients, and he had no idea she was pregnant when she left. He insists he really knows nothing about her or her family. Ava thanks him and decides to take a look around for something that might interest Jenz.

Ethan Wants Another Job

Ethan is toweling off at the Qs’ lake house when Tracy appears, having heard he has a business proposition for her. He throws a shirt on, and they sit down to talk. Ethan says working with Sonny has its perks, but he thinks he can offer his services to her as well, particularly regarding her more delicate dealings. As it happens, Tracy could use his skill set. That’s when Ethan has to excuse himself to take a call.

Ethan heads into the boathouse and takes a call from Apollo. The gallery owner tells him about Ava and Alexis’ visit, asking about Delilah, and he told them nothing useful. Ethan tells him to keep it that way.

Ethan returns to Tracy, who explains that Brook Lynn and Chase want to adopt Phoebe and may need assistance smoothing things over. She needs Ethan to make sure nothing gets in the way of the adoption.

Ava Has a Plan

Back in New York, Alexis vents to Ava this was a bust, but Ava isn’t sure. She thinks Apollo has information but won’t give it up for free. Ava talks with Apollo about a piece she’d like to buy for Jenz, and expresses how sorry she is about his friend Delilah.

Ava then says she and Alexis are working for the wealthy Quartermaine family, and anyone with information on Delilah’s friends or family would be greatly rewarded. Apollo thinks he may have something and walks off. Alexis is not happy her frienemy brought up the Quartermaine name.

Will Michael Betray His Cousin?

Back at the Quartermaine mansion, Michael finds Brook Lynn wrapping a gift for Willow to thank her for all her help with Phoebe. Michael snaps that she’s not doing it for her, but for Chase. Brook Lynn is aware of Willow’s feelings about Chase, and this is a reminder of what she’s doing for a loving, very close family. He wishes her luck and offers his car, given he heard something was wrong with hers.

Brook Lynn insists her door is just rattling, and it’s nothing big, which is when Michael starts the inquisition, and Brook Lynn doesn’t realize it. He gets her to admit racing out of the mansion the night of Trina and Gio’s performance, which she missed, and knows she would have had to take the same road Jordan and Curtis were on that night.

Brook Lynn eventually leaves to deliver her gift, and Michael calls Jacinda and asks her to come by the house, saying he has a way to solve all his problems.

Jacinda soon arrives, and Michael tells her that he believes Brook Lynn is the driver who almost collided with Jordan. He also believes Brook Lynn likely didn’t even know there had been an accident until much later. He plans to reveal this to Chase, to show him Brook Lynn is not the woman he knows or can trust. He is certain Chase never got over Willow, and this will push him into her waiting arms.

Brook Lynn Gets an Eyeful

At Willow’s, Chase tells her not to make any big decisions about her marriage until things calm down; she’s probably just stressed, what with caring for Drew and being a congresswoman. Willow tells him that’s not it; she never should have married Drew to begin with, as she doesn’t love him. She married him for all the wrong reasons.

Willow throws herself a gigantic pity party and says she sounds like a monster for wanting to leave her locked-in husband. And she is a monster for cheating on the wonderful Chase with his best friend Michael when he was dying!

Chase, as always, sympathizes with Willow, even offering up a bright spot: their breaking things off led him to Brook Lynn. He’s sure she can navigate her current situation; he has faith in her. She pulls him into a hug, which Brook Lynn, who is walking up to the front door, spots through the window.

Brook Lynn rings the doorbell, and Willow invites her in. BLQ acts shocked to see Chase, and he explains he dropped off Amelia’s bunny and thanked Willow for what she has done for them. Brook Lynn had the same idea and gives her the gift.

Willow opens it, and it’s a beautiful bowl. Wow! I’m sure it’s expensive… Willow asks about Phoebe, and the couple tell her about Alexis’ help in adopting her. They make small chit chat, and Brook Lynn makes it clear how lucky she is to have such a faithful, supportive husband in Chase.

The Toxic Exes Fued

In Curtis’ office, Portia fumes at Curtis about possibly ending Isaiah’s career, and poor little Derek, who may die without Dr. Isaiah Gannon, miracle worker. Curtis feels for the boy, but says Isaiah has nobody to blame for the situation but himself. He swears that man won’t be a part of his child’s life.

Portia says that if he’s going to banish Isaiah, he’d better find a new place to live, because she’ll veto Jordan’s role in this child’s life.

Curtis argues that he has a long history with Jordan and that Isaiah is just some man she slept with while they were married. Portia counters that Isaiah has shown her more love, support, and respect than he ever did, but Curtis still won’t allow him to be around his child.

Carly Melts Valentin’s Heart

At her home, Valentin confronts Carly for avoiding him. She admits she has been, as he made it clear he’d ditch her in a second to save Anna. She no longer believes she can count on him to help her. Valentin says it’s clear he’s overstayed his welcome, so he’ll shut down the project and Wyndemere and be out of her attic for good! He storms upstairs.

Later, Charlotte shows up frantic and tells Carly it’s her fault that Rocco ran off with Britt, as she was so focused on helping Danny that Rocco must have felt so alone. Carly says she’s not responsible for her brother’s choices, and while Britt is crazy, she won’t hurt Rocco. She suggests the girl not put herself in any more danger, as that is the best way to help her mom and dad. Valentin emerges and tells his daughter to listen to Carly.

Valentin tells Charlotte he’ll take care of Sidwell and Cullum, and the information she gave him was invaluable, but he needs her to stay out of it and stay safe. Charlotte agrees and decides to head home to her mom.

Valentin thanks Carly for helping Charlotte, and he’s sorry for earlier. Carly says she’s the one who is sorry; she shouldn’t have put conditions on his being here and their relationship. However, moving forward, she feels it’s best they have no expectations of one another. As she goes to walk off, he grabs her hand and says, “What if I want you to have expectations of me?”

In The Show’s Final Moments

Valentin tells Carly that he’ll always have feelings for Anna, but these past few months Carly is the one who has kept him alive. Valentin doesn’t know where this goes from here, or if he survives, but he wants her with him through it. That’s his truth, so what’s hers? She pulls him into a kiss.

Portia suggests Curtis stop focusing on what he thinks Isaiah did and focus on the crime he’s guilty of. If she’s called the stand, she’ll be telling the truth. She storms out.

Jacinda asks Michael to think about what this will do to Brook Lynn. Michael believes Chase would never turn her in, and even if he did, she’d get slapped with nothing but a misdemeanor. He justifies that what he’s doing won’t only help him cause Willow to self-destruct in the public eye, but is also good for Brook Lynn. He says she deserves better than Mr. Judgmental White Knight Chase, who always rides to Willow’s rescue.

At Willow’s, Chase has to leave for his shift. Once alone, Brook Lynn tells Willow that she’s grateful for what she’s doing for them, but if she as much as breathes on her husband again, she will destroy her. She storms out.

At the boathouse, Ethan tells Tracy he’s the man if she wants the adoption path cleared, and he can see how much Brook Lynn and Chase love that baby. Tracy tells Ethan nothing is more important than her granddaughter and the family she’s building.

Finally, in New York, Apollo has a photo of Delilah working at a show last July, and shows it to Alexis and Ava. They tell him that he’s been very helpful! It’s a photo of Ethan with Delilah!

On the next episode of General Hospital, Lucas tells Laura and Sonny they’ll need him for this to work. Pascal torments the imprisoned Joss. Nina tells Brennan that she’s his only way out of this. Dante asks Joe if he has an update on Rocco. Carly asks Lulu if she thinks Dante feels the same about her. Tracy talks to Brook Lynn and Ric about getting Sidwell out of Deception.
