In the Tornado’s Wake, Two Couples Who Definitely Should Not Be Kissing Do Exactly That!
The tornado leaves a path of destruction that traps people in various parts of the Fairmont Crest Country Club. As is always the case in soap disaster scenarios, enemies are forced to work together and exes — in particular Bill and Dani — are are confined in tight spaces.
Hayley Kisses Kyle!
Kyle shoves Hayley into a closet only for them to be stuck inside. She thanks him, admitting she feared being trampled by the panicking crowd. While picking glass out of one another’s hair, they lean in and share a kiss. Oddly, Hayley seems to feel guilty, telling Kyle about her husband, leading him to admit he’s not in a position to judge. Andre is trapped under rubble and, once he is freed, it’s discovered that a piece of metal has impaled his leg.
Bill and Dani Give In to Passion!
In the elevator, Bill suggests he and Dani wait to be rescued. She, however, isn’t about to just sit and wait, instead suggesting perhaps she could — with a boost from him — climb through the elevator-topping hatch. She’s freaking out, wanting to get to their daughters, but he manages to calm her down, against all odds. When she hikes up her dress while trying to convince him they need to climb to safety, he immediately turns it into a sexually-tinged joke. Before long, the tension between them reaches a boiling point and despite my yelling “Don’t you do it!” at the screen, they begin kissing and wind up seemingly making love!
Leslie Helps Anita
Leslie seeks shelter with Vernon and his wife. When Anita is injured, Leslie does a great job of taking care of her, even earning praise from Anita. Leslie later admits she fears that something bad has happened to Eva and that she’s reaping what she’s sowed. But Anita says that’s not how tornados or God work. As for Vernon, he goes into boss mode, taking charge of pretty much everything. Anastasia goes into shock, and Ashley is in full-blown nurse mode, doing what she can to help everyone. Over time, it becomes clear that Martin and Victor are both missing. Eventually, Martin is found unconscious beneath a tree which crashed through the window.
Will Eva or Abby Die?
As Jacob is trying desperately to get to the club, Vernon manages to get the power back on. Elsewhere, Kat and Eva are trapped together in a dangerous situation. While Kat seems to think she can yell their way out of the scenario, Eva admits that she’s not feeling right. While Kat continues with her spoiled brat routine, Eva suddenly begins vomiting up blood! As she passes out, it looks like someone has finally located the missing girls. And in the ballroom, just as things are beginning to settle down, Abby is standing beneath a chandelier when it comes loose and crashes down!
