Hope Urges Deacon to Go To Taylor — and Dylan Brings the Heat With Will While Electra’s Away

At Deacon’s place, Hope tells her father his feelings for Taylor are pretty evident. Deacon shrugs that he’s married to Sheila. Hope counters that she let him down. Deacon repeats that if he were to leave her, Taylor could be in danger. “Please, don’t repeat this.”
Hope marvels that her dad really does care about Taylor. He gasps, “Absolutely.” Hope tears up, complaining that his happiness is being held hostage out of fear for what Sheila might do. Deacon exclaims, “So, what? I’m going to end my marriage?!” He can’t risk setting Sheila off.
Don’t Incite the Pscyho
At Taylor’s office, Steffy warns her mother not to incite psycho Sheila. As long as the psycho is alive and breathing, she’ll come after her! She needs to drop Deacon as a patient… for good this time. Steffy worries that Deacon might leave Sheila for her. That can’t happen!
Sheila’s Plea
At Il Giardino, Sheila corners Deke to press him on how much she and his father love each other. Deke isn’t overly receptive as she hopes one day he and his sister will come around and promote her marriage to Deacon… like Taylor has. That she’s an incredible woman isn’t lost on her. Deke chirps, “Or my dad!”
Trading Places
At Forrester, Ivy tells Electra she’s sorry she had to cancel her plans with Will. Electra sighs that her boyfriend will be eating alone tonight. At the beach house, however, Will is inviting Dylan to join him for supper. She feels a little awkward without Electra, but he reassures her.
As Ivy and Electra discuss Dylan being a good person and dear friend, she’s at the beach house repaying their kindness by doing their laundry. Will teases that he can really repay him by… being honest about his teriyaki chicken.
Ivy finds it a little inappropriate that Dylan is living in a house with Will. Electra is irked… her boyfriend is amazing. Ivy clucks that her niece has been spending a lot of time there. Ivy says she told him it can’t be a regular thing. He was disappointed but understanding. Ivy would hope so.
At the beach house, Dylan is telling Will she likes a little spice with her sweet. Talk turns to his mother leaving Forrester. Will explains she wasn’t being treated properly and mentions RJ coming back with a big ol’ head on his shoulders. He hopes Dylan gets to come and work there. They yuk it up as she squirts his chicken with hot sauce.
Steffy finds Electra in the design office and tells her there’s an opening at the reception desk that might suit Dylan. She asks her not to tell her yet, as there’s a few people there who might be interested. Electra thanks her. Steffy remarks on Dylan staying over the garage at Will’s. Once she has a job she can move and Electra will have her boyfriend all to herself.
The Final Scenes
At the beach house, Dylan creeps in to finish the laundry and smiles as she watches Will snore on the sofa.
At Il Giardino, Sheila tells Deke that Taylor will always be special… she saved their marriage. He walks away.
At Deacon’s place, Hope urges her dad to be honest with Sheila and tell her he wants his freedom. Deacon warns, “This is a big one, honey.” He’ll need time to think about it. Hope pleads with him to go to Taylor and tell her how he really feels.
Hope joins Deke in the restaurant and updates him on her conversation with their dad. The situation is precarious, but it’s so obvious that he cares for Taylor. “I told him to go to her. Hopefully, he’s with her right now.”
In her office, Taylor looks at Deacon’s file on her computer screen and thinks.
Deacon enters Taylor’s office and says he had to see her. He’s been trying to figure out his future and the only thing he knows for sure is that he wants her in it. She wants that too. Deacon breathes that she’s the most beautiful woman and he wants her in his life. With that, they start kissing passionately. When he snaps out of it, we realize this only happened in Deacon’s mind. He’s still at home.
In her office, Taylor exhales and lifts her hair off of her neck. It turns out she was having the same fantasy as Deacon, at the very same time.
