Hope *Finally* Makes Her Big Decision — and Deacon Gives an Update On Sheila
At Logan, everyone but Donna pressures Hope to sign the contract. Donna hollers at her niece that this could ruin her relationship with her mother. Hope tells her aunt that she realizes all hell will break loose if she “sides with the enemy.” At Forrester, Brooke tells Ridge and Steffy how much she wants Hope there with her; she needs her to be happy and fulfilled.
At Bikini Bar, RJ’s hanging with a couple of the models from work. Nearby, Finn tells Deacon, with Taylor, that he’s really outdone himself. Deacon tells his “babe,” Taylor, that having her there on opening night mean everything and plants on one her as Finns shifts awkwardly.
Electra and Will arrive, catching RJ’s notice. Yeah, he’s not happy to see them together. Over at the bar, Deacon shows his lady love that he named a drink after her. They make out again as Finn gawps about them being “out there” with their romance. Is Sheila really gone or will she make a surprise appearance tonight?
Leaving us hanging on the Sheila question, Deacon makes his way over to the kids and collects his accolades. When Deacon leaves and Will steps away to take a call, RJ moves in on Electra, questioning her coming with his rival. Electra explains that they drove together, and then rejoins Will to get drinks.
RJ follows Electra and Will to the bar, where it turns out Dylan is the bartender. She’s making extra cash. RJ realizes that Electra and Dylan made up. Naively, Electra hopes all four of them can be friends. Across the way, Deacon tells Finn that Sheila’s texted a few times to wish him luck with Bikini. She hasn’t signed the divorce papers yet, but she’s adjusting. Finn and Taylor don’t share his certainty that she’s not a threat anymore. Deacon says she’s been preoccupied with someone unexpected… something to do with her roommate.
By the bar, Electra has updated Will and RJ on Dylan being Remy’s cousin. They’re upset to hear that he’s been in the office at Forrester. RJ promises to keep an eye out, and Will assures him he’ll take care of it. RJ fumes when Will takes Electra off to talk privately.
The Calm Before the Storm
At Forrester, Steffy and Ridge impress upon Brooke how important it is to invest in Eric right now. Over at Logan, the decision is still being dragged out as they rehash and debate. Liam tells his wife this is her chance, “Sign and make it happen.”
The Final Scenes
At Logan, Hope decides to take charge of her own destiny. She’ll sign as long as Deke is part of the deal. Liam, Katie and Bill assure her it does. Holding the contract, Hope marvels, “That’s a lot of money,” and signs. Donna agonizes, looking like she’s sucked a lemon. They all swear her to secrecy. Hope tells her aunt, “This is what I want.” Donna hopes they change their minds… it could destroy the Logan family.
At Bikini, Dylan serves RJ another beer as he watches Electra and Will. Across the room, Will’s trying to get back together with his ex… the only reason they were apart was Ivy. He pulls out their necklaces and asks her to wear hers again. “Will you come back to me?” RJ stares daggers and Dylan watches too.
At Forrester, Brooke’s back on Katie stealing Eric and her name. She understands rebuilding Eric’s image, but she doesn’t want to alienate Hope any further. Right on cue, Steffy promises a timeline for Hope For the Future next week. Brooke’s thrilled.
Back at Logan, it’s just Hope and Liam, who asks how she’s feeling. She’s proud, scared, and all the things. She knows her mother will feel betrayed and let down. Liam reminds her the alternative was to let herself down. One day Brooke will be proud. For now, no one can know until the line drops. No one can. Where have we heard this before? Oh yeah, when they hired Eric.
