Heath Scare for Bold & Beautiful’s Katie? She May Be Keeping Bill, Will, *Everyone* in the Dark!
There’s been a lot of talk about Bold & Beautiful’s Forrester Creations in general and Ridge in particular on recent episodes of Beyond the Gates. But is Dani and Andre’s upcoming shoot for the Los Angeles-based fashion company only the beginning of a bigger crossover between the CBS sudsers?
In the episode of Beyond the Gates which aired on Wednesday, November 4 (recapped here), Ashley and Shanice were discussing the engaged nurse’s love life. Neither woman realized that moments later, Ashley would have her life turned upside down by her would-be husband’s secret. But even as the ladies were talking about secrets and lies, eagle-eyed viewers noticed the medical file held by Shanice. Why? Because the name of that seemingly innocuous plot was one very familiar to Bold & Beautiful viewers: Katie Spencer!

Suddenly, we were left wondering whether perhaps Katie has been making secret visits to Garland Memorial Hospital. Might the woman who years ago had a heart transplant have been a patient of the late Dr. Doug McBride, a noted cardiothoracic surgeon? And if she really has been seeking treatment in the DMV, why?
Given all the drama that’s been unfolding around her family in recent months, it’s not hard to imagine that Katie might keep them in the dark about a potentially serious condition. Heck, this week Brooke worried that everything going on was “taking a toll” on her sister! And soon after, Katie vowed to son Will that she would always be there for him because they are survivors.
Anyone who knows anything about Bold & Beautiful’s tendency to be heavy-handed can read between those lines!
It could all be a coincidence, but it’s certainly starting to feel like all this smoke is leading to a fiery crossover. Perhaps Katie has been seeking treatment outside of Los Angeles because too many people she knows either work at or are routinely admitted to University Hospital. One thing’s for sure: If Katie is seeking treatment in D.C., that would put her in close proximity to more than a few very handsome men who could give her favorite ex, Dollar Bill, a run for his money!
