General Hospital Spoilers: Emma’s Ex-Boyfriend Comes to PC, Throws Gio’s Romance Into Chaos?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) recently mentioned a former flame who could come back into the picture.

Could Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) soon have some competition for Emma’s heart?

In GH’s June 15 episode, Emma reflected on how annoying her brother, Noah Scorpio-Drake, was when they were younger.

After Emma told a story about Noah sabotaging a date night with her high school boyfriend, Gio immediately became intrigued.

It led to Gio wondering why Emma had never talked about this mystery beau before.

Of course, Emma insisted it was a long time ago and that it didn’t work out, so she tried to make it seem like it was no big deal.

However, Emma ultimately admitted that this guy broke her heart.

There’s still some pain under the surface despite Emma’s attempt to downplay this high school romance.

Emma also suggested heartbreak like that can be good since it helps you know when the real thing comes along.

It’s obvious that Emma feels like she’s found real love with Gio, but that doesn’t mean they won’t face obstacles.

Considering the story Emma just told, one of those obstacles could easily be this ex-boyfriend of hers!

Will Emma’s former flame end up coming to Port Charles and causing issues in her romance with Gio?

It’s possible Emma’s old beau will realize he made a mistake and track her down.

Maybe he never got over Emma after all the years and feels like she’s the one who got away.

Then again, it could be a coincidence if Emma’s ex comes to Port Charles for work or some other reason and just happens to run into her.

Either way, Emma could have a shocking encounter in her future if she bumps into her former flame somewhere in town.

It could set the stage for this guy to pursue Emma and try to break up her relationship with Gio, so troubling news could be ahead.

That doesn’t necessarily mean the plan will work, but we could certainly imagine this old boyfriend giving it a shot if he wants an Emma reunion bad enough!
