Battle lines are being drawn, desperate measures are being taken, and fresh faces are being spotted in the sneak-peek video that General Hospital just dropped for the week of May 18-22. (Read the spoilers here.) Let’s break it down, shall we?

Rocco Is Ready to Run

At the top of the clip, Lulu informs Dante that she’s gotten fake passports for herself and Rocco and packed them up in case they need to flee to keep him from being prosecuted for shooting Cullum. But the boy’s dad is anything but down with that plan. “You will make my son a fugitive over my dead body,” he vows.

Josslyn Proves Her Mettle

Over at Wyndemere, even the great Anna Devane wasn’t able to escape from the room in which Sidwell imprisoned her. But now that Josslyn has been dumped in it by “Nathan,” she’s hell-bent on getting out. To that end, she smashes open an electrical box with a chair. Spoon Island blackout perhaps?

Jack ‘Needles’ Nina

At the hospital, Nina appears to be about to give Jack an injection to keep him as out of commission as Drew is. (Did Willow buy this drug in bulk or what?) But Brennan has a surprise in store for the woman who accidentally stabbed him in the first place: Just as she’s about to do the deed, he moves.

Who’s That Guy?

Finally, we get a glimpse of new PCPD detective Joe Fitzpatrick (All My Children alum and Hallmark fave Jonathan Bennett). And based on nothing more than the sly look he gives Dante, can we just say that we love him already? What? Is it too soon?
