Finally! We’re About to Learn the Truth About General Hospital’s Britt, But Will It Cost Her Life?

Britt’s in grave danger on General Hospital. We’d know that even if Friday’s spoilers didn’t specifically say it! Cullum’s determined to hunt her down, and if he doesn’t make it, he just tricked Cassius into sending her syringes full of poison.

With Britt’s symptoms ratcheting up, she’s sure to reach for her “treatment” sooner, rather than later.

If Dante’s kept enough abreast about what’s going on in his police department, he may know what the lab found in one of Britt’s syringes: Saline. And just saline. If he sees Britt about to inject and asks her about it, that could give her pause enough not to poison herself. She’d want to take a look at what’s in the syringes herself, realize they’d kill her and stay away.

And that, plus the saline reveal, would almost certainly have her digging into her own medical condition enough to figure out what’s actually wrong with her. Does she have a life-threatening disease? Are her symptoms psychosomatic? Have Cullum and Sidwell been doing something else to her?

But if Dante’s not aware of the saline… Well, we aren’t entirely sure what the poison will do to her, but we do know that neither Lulu nor Dante are trained doctors. Then again, with the lives they’ve led, who knows what either of them knows!

But if Britt does inject herself and things go horribly wrong, about the only way we can think of for them to save Britt, would be to rush her to a hospital. That, though, could put her on Cullum’s radar. But it could also lead to a number of tests, especially when the hospital learned she had Huntington’s disease, that could unravel the truth.

And unless we’re wrong, the truth is that she doesn’t have it, and Cullum and Sidwell have been manipulating her to keep her in line! If that’s the case, and she can survive until the bad guys are taken out, then Britt’s here to stay, healthy and free.

Then again, there’s always the third option: Cullum’s poison acts too fast and we lose Britt all over again — this time, in front of Rocco! But hey, even then, that’ll surely lead to them digging into how and why she died, and whether that’s another crime to lay at Cullum and Sidwell’s feet. No matter how you slice it, this feels like a turning point that will finally lead to the truth about Britt and the sword that’s been hanging over her head called Huntington’s disease.
