Brooke Shakes On a Deal That Will Come Back to Haunt Her — and Liam Wants Wyatt to Stay
At Forrester, Katie gingerly touches her cheek where Brooke slapped her. She expresses regret that things have gone so far off the rails over business. She believes in her company and herself even if Brooke doesn’t. “Because I have hope.”
Brooke can’t help but feel that Logan is Katie’s way of getting back at her. She’s been jealous and resentful of her for her entire life. Katie gasps and gawps as Brooke reminds her she was a homely introvert who hid in her bedroom.
Katie wonders if that’s how her sister still sees her. It’s not true and Brooke knows it. She liked to read and was an intellect, not an introvert. Rather than jealous, she was proud of Brooke and looked up to her. She’s her inspiration. Why can’t she support her?!
They circle back to bickering about Eric and Brooke tells her sister that her success has nothing to do with her. She was handed a line. Katie exclaims, “And you haven’t?” She tells her to get down off her high horse. Their mother and Storm would hate this! This is something they can agree on. Tears well up and Katie asks, “Where do we go from here?” Brooke starts by apologizing for slapping her.
Cursed?
At Spencer, Liam marvels that Wyatt has gotten his hands on the Hope For the Future diamond. Wyatt admits it’s a copy that he had made for security purposes. Liam rails, “You don’t have it!” Wyatt sputters that he’s actively searching and vows he’ll find it. “You’ve got to trust me, OK?”
Liam admires the copy and they recap that some people believed the real one might be cursed. Liam murmurs about the two of them having a history with the bauble… but he doesn’t buy that it’s cursed. He’s sure Hope will become the hit of the fashion world and shows Wyatt the projections. Wyatt’s impressed and Liam pressures him to join them.
Wyatt reminds his brother that’s not why he came back to town. Once he delivers what their dad wants, he’s done. Liam tries convincing him that Katie has chilled Bill out. Liam reminds Wyatt he knows how to make jewelry, thanks to Quinn. “You do have a place here.”
Stronger
At the beach house, Will and Electra share a towel after a swim and kiss. Electra, delusional, tells him she wants them to be friends with RJ and Dylan, but he says it’s not going to happen. They feel all they’ve been through has only made them stronger. More kissing and compliments ensue. “Nothing and no one will ever come between them again.” We’ve heard that before!
The Final Scenes
As music plays, Will and Electra make out lying on the deck of the beach house looking as though they’re one step from making love. We hope no one’s out for a stroll on the sand!
At Logan/Spencer, Wyatt tells Liam it was difficult leaving L.A. and the family… and breaking up with Flo. Liam’s sorry he went through a tough time without them. Maybe that’s a reason for him to come and work for Logan. “It’s gentler. Please, brother. Come back.” They embrace and express their love.
At Forrester, Brooke’s still apologizing. The sisters agree they love each other and should support each other. Katie never wanted this to come between them. All she ever wanted was her belief and support. Brooke squints, “You have it. You do.” But adds, “Just leave my family out of it, OK?”
Katie muses that there are two fashion families now. Brooke’s a Forrester, so she can hire all the Forresters she wants. Katie can hire all the Spencers she wants. Holding out her hand, she says, “Let’s make it official.” Brooke shakes Katie’s hand. Oh, snap, Katie just put one over on her! Hope is a Spencer!
