The Bold and the Beautiful can go weeks treading water, just beating us over the head with the same plot point, sometimes even the same dialogue. But when it trots out a genuine shock — like the reveal that Remy was the one who made Dylan scream — and they’re cousins — it really lands. And our next jolt of adrenaline may be coming much sooner than later!
The Stage Is Set for Quinn’s Return
Show of hands: Who thinks that it’s a coincidence that Quinn has been mentioned on air recently? No one? Yep, we don’t believe that it’s random, either. As a matter of fact, we suspect the show is simply reminding us that Eric’s former wife and Bill’s ex-lover is out there before it brings her back.
And let’s be real: The timing couldn’t be better for Rena Sofer to reprise her role. She’s wrapped at General Hospital as Lois, Forrester Creations has an Ivy-sized opening in the jewelry department, and Quinn’s most recent old flame Carter is having trouble starting a family with bride Daphne.
Quinn May Not Return Alone
When Quinn left both Carter and L.A. in 2022, her departure was so abrupt, she couldn’t have had time to pack much — except perhaps a secret. Suppose when she exited the canvas back then, she was pregnant. That would mean she’d be returning to L.A. with the one thing that Daphne might feel she can’t give Carter: a family.
Even if Forrester’s COO tried to remain true to his missus, he’d surely be drawn to his ex. (Those two were never any good at keeping their distance!) And Daphne herself might see pushing Carter away as the noble thing to do — in her mind, to let him be the father he’s always wanted to be.
