Beyond the Gates Preview Week of June 22: Kat’s Fatal Situation – Andre Overhears Dani’s Cheating Story
Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers for the week of June 22-26 imply that Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Natasha Nixon) will be left in a dire situation post-liver transplant, while Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) will overhear Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) talk about cheating.
The BTG weekly preview was just released, so it’s time to talk about all the scary and dramatic moments that are about to unravel.
The Beyond the Gates promo for the week of June 22 opens with Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) at the hospital, looking stressed and tired.
Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson) comes up next to him and says, “It’s gotta be getting to you, both your girls in surgery at the same time.”
He replies, “It’s tougher, knowing the risks for both the donor and recipient.”
Both of Ted’s daughters are under the knife as of Monday, June 22, but it looks like Eva Thomas’ (Ambyr Michelle) surgery will be a success, while something goes wrong with Kat’s.
The family pressured Kat into testing to see if she was a viable match for Eva and then pushed her to go through with the transplant surgery, despite her reservations, so it doesn’t sound like this will all end well.
As the preview progresses, Andre and Dani are at home, in bed together. Andre is concerned about his wife as he states she’s had issues sleeping since the storm.
Dani looks worried (and guilty) as he goes on to say that all that time in the elevator really must’ve gotten to her.
As the scenes shift, Andre and Dani are then shown with Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli).
The trio is at the hospital, as his wife asks how long he’d been standing there. Andre replies by saying, “Long enough to hear something about someone cheating.”
Dani did tell Vanessa about the sizzling time she had with Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) in the elevator during the tornado.
The two will obviously be talking about it before he comes by, so will Andre hear the entire story, or will Dani be able to weasel her way out of this?
Meanwhile at Uptown, Bill will be with Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings). The husband and wife will be enjoying a drink as Hayley notes, “You think that storm was about you? Why do you have such a hard time shaking it?”
She goes on to say, “It’s like you’re haunted or something!” Bill looks mighty uncomfortable as she states this, so will she figure out there’s more to his story than he’s letting on?
As promo wraps up, Andre and Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) are with the Dupree family at the hospital.
The group is in front of the nurse’s station, waiting for an update on Kat and Eva. A nurse and doctor whip by, as Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) worriedly asks, “What’s going on?”
This is when Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit) pipes up and says, “The doctors had to rush in for Kat!”
A scene then flashes of Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) by her daughter’s side, post-surgery, as a doctor rushes her out of the room.
As the Beyond the Gates weekly preview closes, Nicole, Ted, and Dani are at the doorway of Kat’s hospital room, and they look worried as the medical staff work on the young woman.
