Aha! We’ve Figured Out Bold & Beautiful’s Overseas Game-Changer — and Its Aftermath Is… OMG!
Earlier this week, Bold & Beautiful big wig Brad Bell previewed that a life-changing story will unfold overseas in Monte Carlo, and based on the very few tidbits he teased, we’re excited to say, “By George, we think we’ve got it!”
We know that the characters involved in the Monaco scenes are Brooke, Ridge, Steffy, Finn, and Sheila, whose presence most likely explains the metamorphic occurence that’s set to go down. Steffy loathes Sheila, as we all know, so it’s safe to say that Finn’s Birth Mother™ turning up across the pond in the same location as them will not go over well. Worse, we’re going to go ahead and guess that she follows them, perhaps having gotten wind of a certain planned event.
Who has what planned? Well, Finn accompanying Steffy on what otherwise would appear to be a work trip with her dad and Brooke, suggests that there may be a romantic footnote to the journey. Bell loves an overseas wedding, but both couples are already married, so it’s instead giving vow renewal for “Sinn.”
If Sheila hears through the grapevine that Finn and Steffy are planning to renew their vows in the very place where he revealed himself to her years ago when she was grieving his supposed death, it’s certainly not a stretch to think that she’d catch a flight over in hopes of getting a glimpse of the ceremony. She is, after all, obsessed enough with Finn to do something this extreme.
But what happens that’s so life-changing? Bell hinted that the big twist happens on a day that begins at the beach and ends up in a church. Given that Sheila once saved Kelly’s life on a beach, our minds immediately went there. What if, in addition to having saved Kelly, and taken a bullet from Luna, Sheila now rescues Steffy on the beach in Monaco? Would it be enough to finally earn her redemption and be brought into the family fold?
Adding fuel to our fire is footage from overseas that shows Steffy fuming at someone in a beach lounger, presumably Sheila, before ending up in the water in a swimsuit. This certainly seems to be setting the scene for the big rescue! Take a look for yourself.
Long-time fans will remember that it was Liam saving Steffy’s life in a bathtub that caused her to fall in love with him, so rescue redemption could become a theme in her life. Will Steffy and Finn be so grateful to Sheila that they invite her to their vow renewal? That would definitely qualify as an event that would change everyone’s lives.
Imagine when they get home and break the news to Taylor and Deacon! Oh, the irony of Sheila finally earning acceptance from the Forresters after her husband dumped her for Taylor because she was too much of an outcast to hang!
