Hope’s On the Hot Seat — and Sheila Blackmails Taylor… Using the Divorce Papers

At Forrester, Hope asks Steffy if she really wants her back and her line in production. Steffy assures her they need a new project in the pipeline and that’s her. “What’s going on, Hope. What do you need to tell me?”
Brooke walks in as Steffy says she thought Hope would be happy that Hope For the Future is going back into production. She’s super excited about Hope ending her leave of absence and embraces her.
Brooke coos and gushes about this being the moment they’ve been waiting for; she’s so proud! Hope laughs nervously as her mother goes on about them working together again every day. Grabbing her purse, Hope is keen to get out of there and update Liam. Steffy hugs her again as Brooke beams.
Worry Warts
At Logan, Katie tells Bill, Liam and Deke that Steffy was there the other day. She wonders if she saw something that made her suspicious. Bill argues they’ve taken every precaution. Liam thinks he should call Hope. Bill tells him to put the phone down; if Steffy knew, Hope would already be back there.
The speculation and debate continue into another round of Katie worrying about Brooke finding out about Hope working for Logan. “She’s going to explode.” Bill assures his wife she and her sister will find their way through this. “I’m sorry, but this is war. And it’s one I intend to win.” Katie does too, though victory may cost her Brooke, and Hope her relationship with her mother.
Squeee!
In the Forrester showroom, Ridge summons Electra to check on her. She tells him things are great now that she and Will are back together. He wants to talk about work and thinks he can help her out with some support. Dylan walks in and Ridge tells Electra she’s her new assistant. The gals squeal in delight.
Electra’s thrilled to have the help, but worries about Daphne. Ridge and Steffy talked to her; she’s fine with it. He warns the girls they need perfection with the couture line dropping. He’s counting on them to help teach Bill and Katie not to mess with his dad. Huh?
She Will Not Be Ignored
In Taylor’s office, she and Deacon are embracing when Sheila creeps in. She’s wearing the international symbol of going dark, the black leather jacket, so it’s not looking good. Closing the door behind her, Sheila fumes about seeing her estranged husband’s arms around the shrink. It hurts more than she thought it would.
Deacon assures Sheila that they don’t want to see her hurt. Sheila knows they want to pretend she doesn’t exist, but she does. “I will not be ignored, not anymore.” They recoil in terror as she reaches into her massive handbag.
As Deacon protests, “Sheila, no please!” she pulls out… the divorce papers. Sheila knows he wants her to sign them, but feels she deserves something in return… something not in the paperwork. “I want to still be your friend.” Really? Who is this pod person?! Oh, there’s more. She expects Taylor to advocate with her with Finn and Steffy. It’s the least she can do. There’s the real Sheila.
The Final Scenes
Taylor wonders what exactly Sheila is asking for. She wants monitored visitation with Finn and his family. If she wants her to sign the divorce papers, she’ll have to convince Steffy and Finn they’ve nothing to fear from her. She’s a changed woman. Taylor will try, but can’t imagine Steffy changing her mind. Sheila warns she’d better start imagining. She wants just two days a month.
At Forrester, Brooke thanks Steffy for coming through for Hope. The brunette says that’s always been the plan. Ridge joins them and Brooke updates him.
At Logan, the group are admiring Deke’s latest sketches when Hope walks in. Katie blurts, “What did Steffy want?” Hope tells them she wants her to end her leave of absence… it’s time to put Hope For the Future back in production.
Liam marvels at the blindside. “What did you say?” Hope wasn’t sure what to say, and then her mom came in. She’s really proud of her. Bill intones, “What are you saying, Hope?” Liam asks if she’s still fully committed to Logan. Hope vibrates as they all stare at her expectantly.
