Valentin’s Time May Be Up, But General Hospital Has One Way to Save Him — and Bring Jason Home In the Process!
Say it ain’t so! We feel like we just got Valentin back on General Hospital and now he’s about to disappear once again? That seems to be the plan as Valentin’s about to voluntarily give himself up by personally visiting Z, the head of the WSB, and tell him about all the nefarious goings on in Port Charles. Val’s determined to expose Cullum, save Josslyn and stop the cold fusion device at any cost.
He’s saying goodbye to Carly (in the bedroom, naturally) and is planning on saying farewell to Charlotte next, knowing that this will likely mean being tossed back into prison. Except this time, he’s probably not getting out.
But that’s if he manages to get out of Port Charles before Cullum finds him. The supervillain has figured out that Valentin’s probably been hiding at Carly’s and, we know from the preview video this week, he’s going to move fast on that. Carly can hold her own, but there’s not a whole lot she can do about a fleet of WSB agents (or Cullum’s goons) descending on her house to turn it upside down.
So Valentin’s future looks to be either caught by Cullum and killed, or turn himself into the WSB and tossed into prison. Either way, we’re starting to worry about the very real possibility that he could be about to leave again. But it doesn’t have to go down that way!
If Valentin gets out before Cullum gets to Carly, that could put her life in serious risk. Even if Cullum doesn’t find Val, Carly could be in his crosshairs from now on. If Valentin finds that out when he gets to Z, he could be desperate to get back home. But he’d have a one-way ticket back to prison. Maybe even the same one Jason’s been dumped in!
Steve Burton came back to start filming at the beginning of the month, and Jason will be back in July. The timing could work out and Valentin would be the perfect person to help Jason break out, return to Port Charles and put an end to all of this! Jason’s capable, but he’s not WSB — current or former. Valentin is. He could know how to get them both out of there.
And if Jason learned how much danger Carly was in, he would stop at nothing to get back home. If the two come back and end up saving the day (because, let’s face it, when has the WSB proper ever been all that successful at cleaning up its own mess?), that could win enough goodwill to win Valentin’s freedom once again.
