Sidwell Is Arrested, But He’s Not in Custody for Long! — Plus, Jack Offers Willow Exactly What She Needs!

At the baby shower, Stella tries to deescalate the situation, but Portia has had it with Curtis going on and on promoting violence and false accusations, and she doesn’t want her child around any of this.
Trina sneaks off as Portia and Curtis throw insults at one another. Try as she might, Stella can’t get them to see reason, with Curtis continuing to accuse Isaiah of leaving him and Jordan for dead.

Isaiah can’t believe Jordan believes these lies and feels for her, but he won’t take responsibility for something he didn’t do. He says Curtis may have cost him his career.
Portia tells Curtis she wants nothing to do with him going forward, and not to contact her. The pediatrician will call him about the future appointments. She and Isaiah storm out.
Stella tells Curtis all he managed to do today was make things worse. If he goes to trial, he could go to jail. She also wouldn’t blame Portia and Isaiah if they contacted a lawyer to go after him. She is truly sorry that this situation has become this horrific, and she exits.
Tracy Offers Lulu Help
Tracy stops by Lulu’s after leaving the baby shower. Tracy has been thinking about Rocco and offers to use her fleet of PI’s, who aren’t limited to the PCPD’s legal tactics, to help find her son. Lulu wishes she could take her offer, but if they find Rocco, he may be in more danger.
Lulu says she can’t explain in detail, but says Rocco has dangerous people looking for him, so her PI’s could bring more danger to him. She wishes her son knew how much she loved him, but he turns to Britt now when he’s in trouble, not her.
Trina Makes a Decision
At the boathouse, Gio and Emma dry off after a swim, and Kai returns with snacks. Trina arrives, tells them the shower turned into a bloodbath, so she walked out. She says Kai’s words finally hit her, and her parents’ problems aren’t hers. Trina says she’s going to focus on her life and her and Gio’s showcase, not her parents’ issues. She doesn’t want to let herself or Gio down.
Are Willow’s Problems Over?
At Turning Woods, Jack grabs Willow’s arm as she is about to inject him and says, “Don’t do it!” Nina arrives, and Willow is stunned to learn she hasn’t been giving Jack his injections. Nina explains she’s trying to protect both of them from Sidwell and Cullum. Jack tells Willow they can stop Sidwell and Cullum, and he has leverage against Drew that she’s desperate for.
Jack learned that Drew had stolen funds from the McConkey Esplanade to fund his campaign, and that Drew could go to prison for it. (This makes no sense; Drew has more than enough money, but whatever!) Nina says Drew won’t risk going back to prison again, and Jack says Willow will only get this leverage through him. Willow realizes this could work, and she could finally stop drugging Drew.
Carly Wants to Do What?
At Carly’s, she and Valentin discuss Joss’ situation and conclude that her cover may have been blown and that Cullum and Sidwell have her at Wyndemere. Carly decides she’s storming the castle to save her daughter today!
Valentin says they have to be smart and strategic; they need to get Joss out without putting Carly in danger. Carly says Cullum and Sidwell are the ones who need to worry, and she’ll burn that place to the ground to save her daughter.
You Are Under Arrest!
At the construction site, we see a replay of Sidwell shooting Lucas in the chest, and the doctor hitting the ground. That’s when Dante, Joe and the cops surround Sidwell and order him to drop the weapon and put his hands up.
As Sidwell is cuffed, Laura rushes to Lucas to stir him awake. Joe takes over, finds he has a pulse and is alive. Lucas comes too, and Sidwell realizes he’s been set up and Lucas had a vest on. Sonny comes out, and Sidwell says, “Hello, you bastard!” Sonny says they’re just doing their civic duty.
Sidwell orders Dante to arrest the mayor and his father, as they are guilty of murdering Professor Dalton. Sidwell says he had proof, but Lucas took it. Dante says with no evidence, all they have is his word, which doesn’t carry much weight.
“Nathan” shows up and sees he’s missed something. Sidwell says his lawyers will rip this case to shreds; he’s been railroaded by Dante, his mob boss father, and his ex-mother-in-law, the mayor. Sidwell tells poor Lucas that Sonny used him as a pawn to betray Marco, and also insists Sonny doesn’t give a damn about Laura and is using her as well.
Dante’s had enough and asks “Nathan” to take Sidwell to the station and book him. And just like that, this is likely far from over!
Dante tells Lucas he put a lot on the line, and Sidwell will be in jail for a long time for this. Laura tells Lucas he needs to be checked out and won’t take no for an answer. Dante, however, has questions for Laura and Sonny, so Joe offers to take Lucas to the hospital. Of course he does, and they are clearly setting them up to be a couple.
Joe brings Lucas to the hospital, and Lucas says he doesn’t have to stick around. Joe insists on staying until a doctor sees him, as the bullets he took can do a lot of damage. Lucas knows, as he’s a doctor, but it was worth it for Marco.
Back at the site, Dante is glad his father called the PCPD for once but asks if they have anything to say about Henry Dalton’s disappearance.
Sidwell Lives to See Another Day
Elsewhere, Cassius and Sidwell get out of his car, and Sidwell notes Dante did him a favor by assigning him to this task. Otherwise, he’d have to break him out of the PCPD to keep his secret safe. Cassius notes he can’t protect him from this; this is the end of the road. He tells Sidwell to get out of the country.
Cassius uncuffs him and tells him to give up on the project and vanish. Sidwell reveals he has always had contingency plans and to trust he’s on top of this. He then orders Cassius to give him his gun to eliminate suspicions about his escape.
In The Show’s Final Moments
Trina announces to her friends that she’s resetting her priorities and putting everything into the showcase. They all toast to that.
Curtis tells Jordan that his aunt is right, and he may have to stand trial. However, he can’t believe Portia thinks he wouldn’t be a good father. Jordan says that was low of Portia, and she said it to hurt him. He will be a fantastic father!
Tracy tells Lulu that Britt is constantly in trouble, and Rocco is likely with her to help her, which is the example Lulu set for her son: helping someone in need.
Jack tells Nina and Willow he’ll give them what Willow wants once he’s recovered. Willow worries every day that passes, there will be more questions asked about Drew. Jack thinks he’ll be able to take down Sidwell and Cullum shortly, and at most they’ll have to dose Drew two more times. Nina tells Willow they don’t have much of a choice.
Valentin offers to go to Spoon Island, but Carly says it’s too risky. She and Sidwell are besties, and she can just walk right up to the front door. She tells Valentin to have faith that she can think on her feet as well. She declares she will be the one to get her daughter out of there.
Lucas tells Joe he’s glad Sidwell is finally facing consequences. A nurse tells Lucas they’re ready for him, and Lucas thanks Joe for the ride and heads off with the nurse.
Sonny tells Dante that Sidwell was just shooting off his mouth to save himself, and Dante says this his asking was just him being through.
Dante gets a call, steps away, and Sonny tells Laura it’s over. She says, “Is it though?”
Finally, a bloody-headed “Nathan” claims to Dante over the phone that Sidwell’s guys got the hump on him and he escaped.
On the next episode of General Hospital, Valentin asks Charlotte to stay away from Danny. Danny turns to someone for help. Nina warns Ava she could be in danger. Joss tells Obrecht her only power is to stall. Sonny and Alexis learn Kristina’s news. Cullum tells Carly, “I haven’t even started with you, Miss Spencer!”
