They Grow Up So Fast! Meet Days of Our Lives’ Adorable New Victoria — But Is She About to Cause Trouble for ‘Xarah?’

The recasts and new faces just keep coming on Days of Our Lives — and this one is downright adorable! Because the show’s brought a new face in to play Sarah and Xander’s daughter, Victoria, and she’s grown up a bit just in time for a trip to the zoo with her daddy!
Days of Our Lives announced on Instagram that young actress Angelica Nero would be taking over the role starting on Friday, April 24th. And they did it on her special day, wishing the newest cast member a very happy 5th birthday! That means that Victoria’s been SORAS’d (Soap opera rapid aging) a bit since Sarah went into labor back in September of 2023.
Technically, Victoria wouldn’t even be three years old yet, which is why toddlers Amelia and Kennedy Hileman have been playing her since 2025. But it looks like that age is changed! Though with how far in advance Days of Our Lives films, it wouldn’t be that big a change as Nero would have been four back when these first scenes were filmed.
Eagle-eyed viewers may have spotted Nero in the credits this week, though we had yet to meet her. And while this is Nero’s first acting role, there’s a good chance you might recognize the young prodigy, who has her own YouTube channel where she sings, plays the piano and the violin.
Of course, there’s usually a reason why kids are aged and it often has to do with story coming up. In this case, Victoria’s now old enough to talk, and it’ll be interesting to see how she feels about her parents split and Sarah’s growing closeness to Brady. That could cause trouble, but let’s hope she handles her parents’ split a lot better than her cousin, Rachel did!
Though we supposed, if Sarah and Brady work out and end up married, Rachel and Victoria will end up step-siblings. We’re sure Xander would have a few things to say about that!
