“You Can’t Always Get What You Want” might as well be the unofficial theme of Soaps.com’s latest The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Monday, May 18, through Friday, May 22. Read on, and we’ll explain why…

Good News for Steffy = Bad News for Hope

As often as she’s repeated it, we are all well aware that Hope’s future at Forrester Creations hinges on mom Brooke displacing stepsister Steffy as co-CEO. But since Ridge has quoted Meat Loaf, in essence telling his wife, “I would do anything for love, but I won’t do that,” Hope is in for as big a disappointment as Brooke got.

Next week, even as the face of Brooke’s Bedroom is breaking it to her daughter that she wasn’t able to seduce her way into Steffy’s role, Liam is over at Spencer lamenting the fact that Hope is stuck in what amounts to a dead-end job. One that pays her more than any of us will make in a decade, but still.

As Bill likes to think that he always does, he has the solution: Hope should put Forrester in rearview and come work for hot ticket Logan, where Liam has promised she’d never have to worry that her ideas wouldn’t be immediately greenlit. Despite this being a no-brainer of a decision for Hope, looks like she’ll be spending another playing “Should I stay or should I go?”

Dylan Sets Boundaries for Remy… Well, Tries, Anyway

Meanwhile, Dylan’s relief at having mended her friendship with Electra proves to be extremely short-lived. The gal pals were still hugging when persona non grata Remy peek in the office door. Coming up, he once again pleads his case, insisting to his cousin that he’s not a danger to anybody… But, Remy being Remy, he does this in what could easily be perceived as a threatening manner.

Determined to hold onto her job at FC and her friendship with Electra, Dylan draws a line in the sand, instructing Remy to stay the hell away from all of them. But can any of us imagine him following that order? Didn’t think so.

Umm, doesn’t Brooke realize that Ridge can’t technically oust Steffy as co-CEO — and where the heck are Sheila, Deacon and Taylor?! Browse through the latest edition of soaps’ burning questions in the photo gallery below.
