The Bold and the Beautiful: Ridge’s Wild Move Proves Hope Right to Leave Forrester Creations
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) just made an unexpected announcement that delighted Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz).
Since the Forresters are ready to move forward with a Hope for the Future relaunch, Ridge proposed a big change behind the scenes.
Although Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) previously rejoined HFTF and helped deliver some new designs, he’s still living overseas.
The Forresters need someone who knows the line and is living there in Los Angeles, so Ridge announced that Zende would be Hope for the Future’s new lead designer.
It was a powerful moment for Zende, who’s been frustrated over delays and feeling a lack of appreciation at work.
Now Zende is getting recognized for his contributions, so that means the world to him.
However, Ridge’s decision to put Zende in charge just proved why Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) was exactly right to trade fashion houses!
Yet another choice was made about the direction of Hope for the Future without Hope’s knowledge, consent or input.
This isn’t the first time this has happened since we all remember how Hope was forced to fire Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) when Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) wanted to come back to work on the line.
Now Ridge is putting Zende in charge without consulting Hope or considering whether that’s something she’d want.
Hope used to call this her line, but was it ever really her line at all?
It’s clear that the Forresters make all the decisions when it comes to who works on Hope for the Future and in what position.
Hope doesn’t have creative control and just has to go along with whatever Ridge and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) want – or at least she did before she made the switch to Logan.
Zende may rip into Hope when he realizes she’s ditched Forrester Creations for Logan since it could end Hope for the Future.
B&B spoilers hint that Hope and Zende could have a fierce faceoff ahead of them.
Zende may lose his chance to be HFTF’s lead designer, but his promotion news could also prove to Hope that she was right to bolt.
Hope was never going to be able to make her own choices at Forrester Creations, so this Logan move is for the best.
