Oh No… General Hospital’s Cullum May Be Even More Dangerous Than We Possibly Imagined!

After meeting Director Cullum on General Hospital, we have one question: When did it become a requirement for the heads of the WSB to be total creepers? What happened to the days of Sean Connelly and Frisco Jones? Sure, they weren’t exactly perfect in their personal lives, and yeah, Sean did team up with Faison to break up Anna and Robert… But they were mostly good guys!

Then somewhere along the way, the WSB seemed to go full villain, giving us Victor Cassadine, and now Ross Cullum heading it up. And this time around, it could be even worse than we think! Because we know that Cullum and Sidwell are working together towards some sort of final project of Faison’s, and in the process, they’re holding Anna hostage and seriously messing with her mind.

But we’ve been struggling to figure out their actual connection to Faison — besides, you know, all being super creepy villains. We’re not sure what the project is or why they’re so obsessed with it. There’s Cesar’s daughter, Britt, but she’s only helping because her life is literally in their hands.

So what if there’s a greater connection just waiting to drop? That’s an idea naim_not_name raised over on Reddit, asking, “What if Cullum is the final Faison child? The last project is something to do with living up to the legacy or something.”

And that kind of sent shivers down our spine! Though we suppose that would make Cullum Faison’s firstborn — and possibly the one child most primed to take his father’s villainous place. Faison rejected Peter, Obrecht gave Nathan away to be raised by her sister and Britt, well, despite her parents, she actually ended up turning out alright. (After an admittedly bumpy start.)

Faison never really had a child he could mold into his own image. He never had someone to take up his legacy. Unless, of course, he’d raised Cullum, his firstborn, in secret.

And Cullum does kind of remind us of Faison. Plus, since Pascal is in France, we’re assuming he’s the one who put the wig on to freak Anna out. (Unless Cesar really is down there with her, but we doubt that.) Drugged or not, it would be a lot easier to convince Anna he’s Faison if he actually did share a genetic similarity to the man — like between a father and a son.

It still doesn’t explain what is going down, but it might give us the final connection as to why it’s happening. Cullum is just living up to his father’s legacy.

Though there’s still the Nathan of it all… Something is going on with him, and we just know he fits into this somehow, too!
