Meet the Newest Member of Days of Our Lives’ Next Generation as Thomas Comes Home to Salem!

Chad is back from his vacation on Days of Our Lives and he’s not alone: Thomas and Charlotte are both with him! And on top of that, Conner Floyd isn’t the only new face in the family. When the family exited, it wasn’t just Billy Flynn’s final episode, but Cary Christopher’s as well. The talented young actor booked a series regular role in an Amazon Prime show, so he decided to leave Salem and Thomas.
Now that Thomas is back with Charlotte (who’s still played by Autumn Gendry!) and Chad, he’s got a fresh new face, as Alexander Elijah Bond has taken over the role. Though Bond’s appeared in a few short films, this will be his daytime debut. And it’s already thrown him right into the thick of things!
Naturally, Cat was the first person that the returned family ran into in the square and even after the break, Thomas is clearly not in a forgiving mood. He was none too happy to see his dad’s crush, and it doesn’t look like he’ll be easing up on wanting her out of his and Chad’s life! Still, we wouldn’t count Chad and Cat down and out just yet. There’s always a way around obstacles, especially in Salem.
And this time around, Thomas may find his cousin Rachel (who’s also been recast) a bit less willing to encourage his worst tendencies. Therapy and a couple stays in Bayview seem to be calming her down. Hopefully, Thomas doesn’t pick up the slack and start acting out more on his own!
Whichever direction Chad and Abigail’s son goes, welcome, Alexander Elijah Bond to the Days of Our Lives family!
