Jack arrives at the Metro Court pool where Carly is setting up for a private party. He reveals he’s the client that booked the pool, just for them.
Are Carly and Jack Officially an Item?
Carly and Jack dip their feet in the pool and drink champagne. Carly asks to what does she owe this surprise? Jack admits they haven’t spent much time together lately, and he’s missed her. She says she’s missed him too, and they kiss.
Carly asks how things are going for him, and she knows he can’t tell her details. He explains he’s dealing with a tricky situation, but it’s progressing. He asks Carly what is going on in her world. Carly tells him about Sasha leaving town with Daisy, and she and Michael are heartbroken as they don’t know if they’ll see them again.
Carly explains that Sasha believes someone was targeting Daisy and tells him about the incidents that happened. She can’t blame Sasha for wanting to protect that baby, given what she’s been through, but it’s killing her and Michael. She admits she wanted to call him to fix everything, but given Daisy may have been targeted because of Sonny, she didn’t want their worlds colliding. Plus, he’s bent the rules for her more than once, and she doesn’t want to seem like she’s using him. She says he’s enough for her as is, and he doesn’t need to magically solve all her problems. Jack says if something is wrong, he wants her to come to him, even if all he can do is listen.
Jack has to check in with work, departs and returns, but can’t tell her what is going on. He realizes that not being able to share his work with someone is likely why he has never tried to have a personal life of his own. However, just being with her, even if he can’t tell her anything, it helps. They kiss again.
Vaughn Sets Joss Straight
Vaughn and Joss arrive at Jack’s office and find it empty. Vaughn says Jack probably has taken the afternoon off, and Joss assumes he’s with her mom. She rants that it has to be against policy to date an agent’s mom. He says she needs to drop it, and making waves for your boss is a quick way to a boring desk job. He warns that she doesn’t want to go up against Jack. He went from serving a prison sentence to becoming WSB Chief, and he has an amazing amount of influence.
Joss says, “So you are telling me Brennan can do anything he wants and get away with it?” Vaughn says Brennan is the best boss he’s had, and he’s saved him more time than he can count. If she wants a career with the WSB then she doesn’t want Jack as an enemy.
Will Anna or Dante Tell Carly About Joss?
In Anna’s office, Anna tells Dante she believes Jack recruited Joss to be a WSB agent and Vaughn is her partner. Dante can’t believe his little sister is a spy, but Anna says she was recruited when she was younger than Joss. She says Joss is the perfect agent, as nobody would suspect a college student of being a spy. Anna notes that Brennan has an eye for talent, and after talking to Carly earlier, she’s convinced that Joss has been recruited to watch Dalton and whoever he’s working for.
Dante asks how Brennan could have reeled Joss in? Anna says, “With Cyrus Renault.” Anna recounts that Joss was so determined to prove that Cyrus killed Dex, and she went to great lengths to investigate on her own. Brennan may have noticed how driven she was, and she wonders if he was helping her pursue Cyrus. That would have given Jack a way to test her, and she always had leads a civilian wouldn’t have had. Dante hates the idea that Brennan used Joss’ grief to turn her into an agent.
Anna recalls she was feeling alone in the world and studying dance when she was recruited, but always felt there was more out there for her. Her recruiter told her that she was special and could make a difference in the world, which is likely the line Jack used on Joss. Being in the WSB filled a void for her, and likely the same is true for Joss.
Dante asks when she was trained, but quickly realizes it was when Joss supposedly went to Easter Island. Anna says the WSB needed an in at PCU, and Joss was the perfect candidate. Dante asks what is next. Anna says Joss sabotaged Emma’s research to steal the internship with Dalton from her, so she thinks Dalton must be doing something bigger than animal testing.
Anna states Joss doesn’t know what she’s getting into, and she didn’t know what the WSB will cost her in the long run. Dante knows it cost him his marriage and wonders how Carly would feel if she knew Jack recruited Joss. Dante asks if Jack could have used Carly to get to Joss. Anna doesn’t know, so Dante ponders that maybe Carly should know about this.
Anna says he can’t tell Carly, as it would blow Joss’ cover, and they don’t know what is really going on with Dalton. Anna says if Jack is going to this much trouble to nail Dalton, he must be a threat. Dante asks if he’d sacrifice an agent in order to stop Dalton?

Was That Britt Jason Saw?
In Paris, Jason tells an airline attendant that he needs to get on that plane before it takes off and speak to a passenger. Jason offers to buy a ticket, but the doors are closed, and he’s told he’s too late.
Jason thinks back to seeing a woman who looked just like Britt run to catch the plane.
Later, Jason boards a flight back to New York and begins thinking about his times with Britt when they were on the run together. He recalls her revealing her Huntington’s Disease to him and also hurting her when she found out he was going to marry Carly.
In the Show’s Final Moments
Lucy and Flora join BLQ and Lois on air, revealing they have sold out of the serum. The show ends, and Flora notes that the mother-daughter have a great on-air connection. Flora is called away, and Brook Lynn blasts Lucy for that stunt. Lucy says she did what she did for Deception, and for the two of them. She says they are magic, and can’t they put this rift behind them and move forward?
Lois swears she wouldn’t have shown up if she knew Lucy lied to her daughter, but she is proud of her and has missed her so much. Brook Lynn doesn’t look at her mother and warns Lucy that if she does this again, she’ll show her just how much she’s learned from Tracy. She then fires her mother and walks off.
In her office, Anna tells Dante she’ll take this situation with Joss from here. Dante says they both lost a lot working for the WSB, and wonders if she would have wanted someone to get her out when she was Joss’ age.
At the pool, Carly and Jack continue to kiss, and hope they have a future together.
In Jack’s office, Joss tells Vaughn that she won’t do anything to jeopardize the mission. He tells her that she’s distracted, and she can’t be, as their lives as well as the op are on the line. Vaughn gets a call and says the Courier stopped over in Paris, but is headed to Dubrovnik.
On the plane, Jason continues to recall the last time he saw Britt on Cassadine Island.
In Dubrovnik, Croatia, Britt steps out of a car and is welcomed back by a man. She says, “It’s good to be back.”
