Cassius and Obrecht Finally Come Face to Face and Lucas and Sidwell’s Face-Off Turns Deadly
Gio’s tanning out on the water when Emma dumps ice on him, annoyed that he’s not rehearsing like he said. But she gets over it fast, strips down and they jump in the water. As they towel off, Emma asks how having a baby sister is going. It’s been fun, Gio gushes. Even Tracy’s melting over Phoebe. He thinks Phoebe found the perfect parents, especially since she’ll never know her mother.
Will Nina Help Jack?
Nina checks in on Jack, who mostly just wants a cheeseburger. Oh, and he spoke with Valentin. Nina has to go to the authorities — Val won’t. And neither will Nina! Brennan grunts out that Josslyn’s time is running out. Carly and Val won’t get Joss out. “They’ll die.”
He accuses Nina of keeping her mouth shut, not to help him, but to save her own bacon. Not no, but she’s trying her best to make everything up to Jack! And Valentin will do the right thing, eventually!
Can Brook Lynn Take Down Willow?
Willow bumps into Brook Lynn and tries running out, but BLQ apologizes for over reacting — she took her stress out on Willow! Totally unfair. Willow’s deeply touched. She just wants to help, which is why she offered Chase the job! He’d have the flexibility and security, which is what a new parent needs!
Brook Lynn plays all nice, agrees, and checks if they’re good. They are! Thanks for asking! They hug as BLQ makes a face behind Willow’s back. A confused Lucy spots them and Willow runs off. Brook Lynn tells Lucy it was all an act and Willow’s a man-stealing tramp, and Lucy’s suitably impressed.
They head inside and get down to plotting against Willow. They need to find her weak spot. Lucy, though, hits on the wrong one. What if Willow was the one driving the car that ran Jordan off the road? Brook Lynn looks uncomfortable, then, “That could actually work,” she smirks. (Oh, OK, guess that was the right one!)
Baby Shower Drama
The baby shower is here and Trina sends Kai off after helping set up. Stella, Isaiah and Portia arrive. Stella apologizes for having the shower where Isaiah got his hand broken. Tracy then joins the party with a few comments and Stella tells her everyone has to learn to get along.
After some hesitation, Jordan decides to go to the shower with Curtis. They drop in, Curtis thanks Trina for making the day special, then — with some prompting from Stella — says hi to Portia. He’ll behave, but not if someone starts something. Then the testosterone duo stare each other down, they growl at each other a bit and everyone plays awkward games.
Will Cassius Save His Mom?
Obrecht rushes over to “Nathan,” relieved he’s there to rescue her. But he’s not. Josslyn tells Obrecht that her son’s working with the enemy. And he’s not her Nathan. “I’m Cassius,” he admits. “Nathan’s twin.”
Obrecht tries laughing it off as a trick. Nathan survived, but his twin was stillborn. But… she never saw him. She was sedated. Madeline told her the baby died. “She lied,” Cassius says. She traded him to Faison, who never knew he was a twin. Obrecht’s heart shatters as Cassius tells her Nathan’s dead. He had his brother cremated and spread his ashes in the ocean.
Obrecht sits and laments the lie that gave her false peace when Nathan returned. Josslyn tells Cassius to do the right thing and rescue his mother, but Liesl knows he won’t. As he tells his mom that he kept Britt healthy and safe, she hauls off and slaps him right across the face!
Will Sidwell Kill Lucas?
Lucas and Sidwell have their showdown at the construction site. After some pleasantries, Sidwell gets right into it, thinly veiling his accusation that Lucas was faking his grief and demands to know what he was doing in his safe. The photographs are missing, and Lucas stole them. “You’re damn right I did,” Lucas declares.
Sidwell knows Laura and Sonny put him up to it. How could Lucas stab him in the back?! “You dragged Marco into your criminal organization and made him your accomplice,” Lucas spits. Now that Marco’s gone, he has to make sure Sidwell doesn’t succeed. He tries storming off, but Sidwell pulls a gun and tells him to turn around or he’s getting a bullet in his back.
“Did you ever love my son, Lucas, or did you just seduce him to earn my trust?” Sidwell’s breaking down as he demands the truth. Did Lucas frame Pascal to cover his own crime? “Marco is dead because of you,” Lucas declares. Sidwell pulled him down, and exploited losing his mother. Sidwell starts shaking.
In the Show’s Final Moments
Kai joins Emma and Gio to point out that Trina keeps getting sucked into family drama. (Correct.) The baby shower wraps with Curtis and Isaiah fighting over who gets to be daddy. Lucy knows they can’t prove anything with Willow, but they can ruin her reputation — if she doesn’t have an alibi.
Willow sneaks into Brennan’s room to give him his injection since Nina’s busy at the baby shower. But before she can, he snatches her arm. “Don’t. Do it.”
Cassius promises that he will die before he lets anything happen to Liesl. But she’ll do what needs to be done, because she can’t lose another son.
Sidwell tearfully tells Lucas that his lies and betrayals got Marco killed and pulls the trigger, shooting him in the chest.
