Can Anyone Save Eva’s Life — and Yes, We’re Lookin’ at You, Kat!
As Fairmont Crest continues to deal with the fallout of the tornado, Leslie storms the hospital, demanding answers about Eva’s condition. Ted arrives just in time for her to collapse into his arms. When Kat arrives wanting an update, Leslie is cold as ice, ripping her for having treated Eva like crap since Day 1. (I’m willing to bet that when Leslie shouts that her daughter wants and needs nothing from Kat, every viewer who’s been predicting otherwise a transplant story shouted, “Hold that thought, woman!” at their screen).
Leslie has a complete meltdown, realizing there’s nothing she can do but wait. Kat sits beside her, saying they’ll wait together. Soon, those gathered learn that if Eva doesn’t get a transplant or a living donor can’t be found, she could die.
Nicole Delivers Rough News
Vanessa is anxiously awaiting the return of cell service so she can check in with Deanna and Donnell. Deanna eventually calls and the mother/daughter are on the verge of having a real moment when Joey shouts out that Vanessa’s bath is ready. Deanna instantly goes cold, thinking her mom was lying about only thinking of her children.
Speaking of kids, Tyrell and Samantha are at the brownstone, worrying about the family, unaware that Martin has collapsed and been taken to the hospital. Nicole arrives to tell them that Martin is in the hospital and they’re awaiting test results. Later, members of the family get news that Martin is awake and on the road to recovery. Madison warns that if he suffers any symptoms at all, he must return to the hospital, pronto.
