Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers for Wednesday, June 17, indicate that Shanice Johnson (Ernestine Johnson) pulls an unexpected move, while Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) begs Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Natasha Nixon) to get tested.
As fans know, during the Tuesday, June 16 episode, tests revealed that both Ted and Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) were not a match where Eva Thomas’s (Ambyr Michelle) liver transplant is concerned.
Eva needs this procedure, stat, or she’ll pass away. Other family members like Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) and Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) can’t get tested because of the injuries they sustained during the tornado.
Things seem hopeless for Eva … well, sort of. All arrows are pointing to Kat as being Eva’s only match and viable donor; however, Kat isn’t even sure she wants to get tested.
It may appear to everyone that Kat is being a “princess”; however, the young woman is also scared, so there’s that.
Ted will plead with his daughter to get tested, at the very least, during the Wednesday, June 17 show, so will she agree to move forward with this?
It sounds like Kat will also clash with Eva’s boyfriend, Izaiah Hawthorne (Lami), so the pressure will be on her from all ends to move forward with this.
Kat will likely be a match and save Eva’s life, but Beyond the Gates has to bring some drama and suspense first, right?
In a surprising move that no one saw on BTG’s bingo card for 2026, Shanice will extend an olive branch to Leslie.
While the nurse doesn’t put up with foolishness, she also happens to have a huge heart, and she may feel for Leslie as she’s having a rough week.
Not only is her world – Eva – fighting for her life, but she also can’t donate her liver to save her daughter as she’s not a match.
Shanice will feel bad for Leslie and try to mend fences, so will Leslie reciprocate or just get nastier? Only time will tell.
Finally, while there will be plenty of intense drama, there’s also going to be a bit of steaminess that surfaces during the Beyond the Gates June 17 show.
Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) will lean on Dr. Kial Rollins (Greg Vaughan), which means some sizzling action in the bedroom for these two!
Beyond the Gates spoilers suggest that after the couple of days that Nicole has had, she’ll need some comfort, and the good doctor will be more than ready to appease his love interest.
