Beyond the Gates Exclusive: ‘You’ve Never Seen Anything Like It’ Warns Exec of This Week’s Must-See Episodes

If you’re a fan of Beyond the Gates, you’ve no doubt been awaiting two things: the much-discussed cotillion and the climax of the increasingly-intense plasma-ring storyline. Well, get ready, because this week both will take center stage as the event of the Fairmont Crest social season unfolds against a backdrop of danger and intrigue. By the time the week is over, someone will have been crowned Platinum Deb… and someone will have died!

“It’s a showstopper,” shares executive producer Julie Hanan Carruthers, who is excited for fans to see what the cast and crew have spent so much time working on. “We’ve had songs created and dances designed and choreographed,” she previews. As if the cotillion weren’t enough to keep us tuned in, Carruthers warns that there’s “another big event happening the same night.” While the dance will involve “surprises and unexpected disappointments,” the exec shares that there are “a lot of eventful things happening at the same time, in different places in the DMV.”

While Carruthers happily discusses the cotillion, she remains tight-lipped about exactly what will be playing out in the plasma-ring story. We do, however, know that Jacob will be unmasked and someone won’t survive the night.

All in all, she says, “I think people will be surprised. It’s not what they expect. You’ve never seen anything like it!”
