A Break Is Made In Locating the Other Car Involved in Jordan’s Accident —Plus, Britt Warns Rocco to Stay Quiet!

Gio, who is late, meets Emma at the Bad Jen Café, but he has amazing news. He tells her tomorrow they’re going to New York City to see Aladdin. He says he’s friends with Michael, who plays the Genie, and they met when he was asked to fill in for a violinist on leave for two months. Emma is not only an Aladdin superfan, but she’s also blown away that Gio was in a Broadway orchestra.
Gio can’t wait to show her the real New York. She wonders if that includes seeing his family? Gio admits he thought about it, but he’s still not ready to see the Cerullos yet. He asks Emma not to post anything about their trip, because they can’t know he was in New York and didn’t see them.
Lulu Vents to Joss
At Bobbie’s, Joss is closing up, but can’t stop thinking about seeing “Nathan” leave Cullum’s room at GH. She knocks over a tray of silverware as Lulu walks in, and Lulu asks Joss what has her so distracted. Joss says she’s just really sore because she tried to impress “Nathan” at the gym, but only made him feel awkward by bringing up Faison.
They discuss “Nathan” and Britt’s history with Faison, and Lulu eventually gets into how much she hates that Britt has inserted herself into Rocco’s life. She says the major problem is that Rocco is pushing for a relationship with her, and anyone close to Britt gets hurt. She says Britt is nothing but trouble, and Rocco refuses to see anything but the best in her.
Nathan Gets a Lead
In Dante’s office, “Nathan” gives him an update on Jordan’s accident and a lead on the other vehicle. He found fresh paint-scratch marks on the guardrail near Jordan’s accident and collected a paint sample for CSI. Dante says Justine wants that driver found and prosecuted.
The topic shifts to Marco’s murder, but there is nothing new there. There have been no leads from Marco’s cell logs, and the cell is still missing. Dante says that the phone is likely long gone, and if the killer took it, it must be because Marco knew his killer, and something on it could implicate him.
Eventually, Lulu’s name comes up, and “Nathan” admits he feels like it’s the ultimate betrayal seeing his ex-wife. Dante says they discussed this; they are all adults, and this shouldn’t be difficult. “Nathan” keeps pushing the matter, but Dante moved on and just wants him and Lulu both to be happy, and they don’t need to talk about it anymore. One would think Nathan would feel more guilty about lying to everyone about who he is.
Jordan Is the Center of Some Drama
At the hospital, Jordan snaps at Portia and her phony sympathy, telling her to just be honest. Portia says they don’t like one another and will never be friends, but her sympathy is not phony, and her body needs time to heal. Portia says she will need help for the foreseeable future, so let it be Curtis she leans on.
Portia tells her they are stuck together because of this baby, so perhaps they can set aside their distrust and dislike and try to get along for Curtis, the baby, and their sanity. With that, Portia walks off.
Elsewhere, Isaiah thinks Curtis is just taking his frustration out on him, and picking a fight won’t help anyone. Curtis yells at him to just honor Jordan’s wishes and stay away from her, and then walks off.
Curtis soon finds Jordan hiding out on a balcony, and they talk about the road ahead of her. She hates being a patient and waiting for people to fix her. Plus, there are no guarantees she’ll look like she once did.
Jordan knows she should be grateful to be alive, but how one looks affects how people treat you. She feels damaged, self-conscious, and less than, all feelings she’s never faced before. If things don’t get better, her scars don’t heal, and his feelings for her change… Curtis swears they won’t, and they can do anything together. She asks him to hold her, which he does.
Meanwhile, Isaiah warns Portia that he doesn’t know how long this peace will last after a run-in with Curtis. After he fills her in, she tells him about her own argument with Jordan. They decide to keep their distance from Jordan for now, and Isaiah suggests they go back to his cabin tonight so he can pamper her.
Rocco Confesses to Britt
In the chapel, Britt is stunned by Rocco’s confession and asks why he was on the pier. He says he followed her to make sure she was OK. Britt needs to know everything, so he tells her what went down. He couldn’t hear what she and Lucas spoke about, and he doesn’t know what she gave Cullum, which he smashed. Britt realizes Jason took the fall to protect Rocco, and now it all makes sense.
Britt feels terrible that he’s had to carry this secret alone. That’s when he drops the bombshell that his mom and “Nathan” know what happened and told him he couldn’t say a word to anyone. Britt says they are right; he can’t say anything, as if Cullum finds out he shot him, then they are both dead.
Rocco asks if she is still in danger, and Britt says Cullum needs her and won’t hurt her as long as she does what he wants. She refuses to tell him anymore and begs him not to tell anyone else what he did. It would kill her if anything happened to him because of her. He promises, and she hugs him, swearing to fix this.
In The Show’s Final Moments
At the café, Emma can’t wait to see New York tomorrow. Gio picks her up, spins her around, and says, “Princess, I’m about to show you a whole new world.”
At Bobbie’s, Joss asks Lulu if there is any way “Nathan” can help keep Rocco away from Britt, but she doubts it, as “Nathan” and Britt aren’t close and were just getting to know one another when he was shot. Joss marvels at how well “Nathan” has been able to move forward and slide back into his life after missing seven years… Is Joss beginning to suspect something?
At the PCPD,” Nathan” finally gets a call from forensics, and tells Dante they have something.
At the hospital, Rocco eventually heads out, and Britt pulls out her phone and calls to have the launch ready so she can go to Wyndemere and work…
Portia asks Isaiah about that house call he had to make the last time they were at the cabin. He assures her that the patient is on the mend and won’t interrupt them again.
Finally, Curtis gets a call, which Jordan insists he take. It’s Dante who tells him they may have a lead on the other vehicle, and it matches a black German-made car. Curtis notes to himself that Isaiah drives a black SUV.
