Mishael Morgan Officially Leaves The Young and the Restless
After much speculation, Daytime Emmy Award-winning star Mishael Morgan has finally made it clear that she is not “leaving” The Young and the Restless (Y&R) entirely, but has instead decided to move from a main contract to a recurring role. She explained that she decided in December that she “wanted a little change” in her career and life; however, Y&R will always be her home – “a safe place to come back to.”
The Reason Behind Her Decision to Leave
Morgan shared that her decision was reinforced by a family tragedy: a fire that killed many of her loved ones, which made her realize the importance of family and wanted to spend more time with her children and her hometown in Toronto
