Days of Our Lives’ EJ Has the Flashback of *All* Flashbacks — What Will He Do Now That His Shooter Has Been Revealed?

After days and days of back and forth cross-examinations and accusations, EJ finally remembered who shot him. Days of Our Lives viewers watched it all go down today in the August 19 episode and now that he knows his niece Rachel had been the one to fire the bullet that could have killed him, what will he do with this information?

As Tuesday’s episode unfolded, it all began when closing arguments were made in Johnny’s case. After the fact, where Johnny himself told the jury that though he planned to kill his father, he hadn’t been the one to pull the trigger of the gun he left behind, the jury was left to deliberate. Belle and EJ exchanged words, as did Johnny and his father, then everyone went their separate ways…

EJ went back home and soon after, Marlena arrived with Rachel. As the two talked, Marlena paused to scold Rachel for throwing an expensive glass globe in the air. Suddenly, EJ flashed to Rachel holding the gun, accusing him of having done something to her grandma then ultimately shooting him. In the end, not only did EJ remember, Marlena picked up on it — and Rachel appeared to have remembered too.

So, the question is… What will EJ do next? Will he run straight to the authorities with the news? Will he let Johnny sweat, given that his son has pushed him away? Or, will he keep the info close to his vest and decide, with Marlena’s guidance, what to do after that?
