At Alexis’ place, Scout is asleep and Michael’s left. Kristina and Alexis discuss Scout’s confusion and how nobody saw Nina and Drew’s sleeping together coming.
Molly Makes Some Rewrites
Molly storms in noisily, and Alexis shushes her as Scout is sleeping upstairs. Molly tells her sister that Cody is every bit the hustler she said she was. She rants about him and how he got all uppity about her reading a romance novel. She knows his arrest record and says thanks to Kristina, Cody won’t be taking advantage of her any longer.
Molly decides to head upstairs, saying she feels stupid for falling for Cody’s act, and Ava can have him. Alexis asks what Kristina said to her sister. Kristina insists it was the truth, mainly, and she’s better off without Cody.
Kristina tells her mom what she told Molly, and they need Cody to stick with the plan and with Ava. Alexis admits that today Ava asked to meet with her without Ric. Also, Ric couldn’t stop staring at Liz at the wedding. Alexis feels bad sic’ing Ric on Liz. Kristina thinks Liz will be fine, she knows the real Ric, what matters is Ava and Ric maybe calling it quits.
Molly goes to her room, opens her laptop, and then quickly closes it. She then grabs a notepad and reads over a sheet labeled “Hero” and the character traits she listed, which are a lot like Cody. She then crosses “Hero” out and labels him “Dumb Sidekick.”
What Happened to Britt After Dying?
At the reception bar, Obrecht can’t stop laughing about the wedding, and then asks Jason what he wanted to talk to her about regarding Britta. He believes he saw her in Paris, but Obrecht stops him and says she also sees her daughter all the time. She says the sightings have faded lately, but every now and then she’ll see her in the crowd, and she always finds herself looking for her.
Jason insists his experience was different, and he’s never seen her before this time. Obrecht says her daughter died a hero, and she misses her, and she thinks Britta would be pleased that he still thinks of her.
Jason says there is no grave for Britt, so was she buried somewhere else? Obrecht notes Britta was different when she was with him. She was happy, and she was starting to trust him as she told him about her Huntington’s long before she told her.
Obrecht believes Britta could have been happy with him, if hadn’t left her for Carly. He hates that he hurt her, and she says he saved her life, so no hard feelings. She tells him about Britta’s death, and we see flashbacks of her dying in her mother’s arms. Obrecht wishes they had more time.
He thanks her for talking to him about Britt, as he hasn’t had anyone talk to her about her. She says Britta surprised her until the end. She thought she’d donate her body to research for a cure for Huntington’s, but she wanted to be cremated. Jason offers to walk Obrecht, who has become very drunk, to her room. She admits she’s jealous he got to see Britta at the airport, as she wishes she could see her daughter again.
What Is Britt Really Doing?
Britt checks into her room at The Five Poppies resort and drops the courier’s backpack on the ground. She relaxes in bed, opens the backpack, and pulls out a large stack of files. She breaks out her laptop and gets to work. She also catches up on Port Charles’ news and laughs about Tracy’s arrest at The Nurses Ball.
There is a knock at the door, and it’s a man named Tomas, who has been sent to relieve her tension as she’s working too hard. Tomas gives her a massage and offers more, but she says not tonight and orders him out. Her mood suddenly changes.
Nina Learns Who Ratted Her Out
At the Metro Court pool, Curtis arrives to see Nina, as does Portia. Nina tells them that Willow and Drew are finally over. Portia asks why she is so upset. Nina cries, she and Willow are also over, and she lost her daughter forever.
They sit down, and Nina says she realized how lost Willow was when she was okay with Drew blackmailing Portia. Before she could tell Willow anything today, she asked her if she had slept with Drew. Curtis comes right out and says he is the one who told Willow.
Nina asks why, and Portia explains it was for her. She was about to come clean and ruin her career, and Curtis thought this would spare her. Curtis is sorry she lost her daughter, and he never thought that would happen. Nina says he did the right thing, and Willow wouldn’t have believed her if she told her. Willow would have accused her of making it up to stop her from marrying Drew. She says as long as Willow is free from Drew, losing her daughter was worth it.
Nina says Willow blamed her for not telling her sooner, and costing Willow her marriage and kids. She was selfish, as she could have torn her away from Drew earlier. Her fear of losing her daughter paralyzed her, and now Willow is all alone. Nina wonders what her daughter will do now.
Drew Searches for Willow
Drew and Martin crawl over the wall to get to the Quartermaine mansion, where Drew believes Willow is.
Inside, Cody makes a grossed-out Tracy check his back for the funny mole Molly said she saw, but she sees nothing but a freckle.
Drew, with Martin, bursts in and, in the foyer, asks Drew where Willow is. Tracy laughs, “You misplaced your bride already?” Tracy says Willow isn’t here, and he is trespassing.
Martin claims they are here to discuss the Measure C campaign, but Cody realizes Willow bailed on him. Drew admits Nina told Willow about their affair. Cody and Tracy are thrilled, and Yuri bursts in to drag Drew out.
Tracy has Yuri wait in the living room, and Martin goes with him. Tracy tells Drew that he was living on borrowed time, and his affair blew up in his face at the best possible moment. Drew seethes that if it weren’t for Nina’s interference, he’d be married to Willow right now.
Drew is tired of the judgments from everyone for falling in love with Willow, and he is all Willow has now, so he won’t abandon her. He wants to go upstairs to talk to her. Cody stops him, but Tracy tells Cody to let him go, and Drew walks upstairs. Tracy confides in Cody that Willow isn’t here.
In the living room, Martin speaks with Yuri about how much trouble it must be working here with all the Quartermaine drama. Yuri calls it an honor and a privilege. Martin brings up Monica’s health and asks if she gets a lot of visitors these days.
Willow Completely Cracks Up
At Carly’s, Willow shows up and demands to see her children. Carly reminds her she can’t see them. Wiley calls out for his grandma, and Willow shoves her way in and calls out to Wiley like a crazy person.
Carly grabs her and shoves her in front of a mirror, telling her to look at what a mess she is, and that she’s going to scare her kids.
Michael enters, and Willow says she didn’t marry Drew, so now he has to let her see her kids. Wiley calls out to his mom, and Michael tells Willow that she can’t see their kids and drags her out of the house.
Carly tends to Wiley, who heard his mommy, as Michael yells at Willow outside that she’s not seeing the kids tonight and she needs to go home and clean herself up. Willow breaks down in tears.
Willow swears her eyes are open to Drew. She admits she was wrong, and he was right. Michael is glad she knows the truth, but it changes nothing. Willow says she’ll come back to him, and they can be a family again, but he says it’s too late. Willow cries that she’ll do anything he wants.
Michael says they have to follow the court’s ruling for now, which is why she needs to leave. He threatens to have her escorted off the property if she doesn’t leave, and heads inside. Willow looks in the window and sees Wiley in Carly’s arms and cries.
Later, Liz and Ric show up and find Willow sitting on the ground in almost a catatonic state. Willow asks Liz to talk to Michael, as she needs her children. Liz says it will scare Wiley and Amelia to see her like this, and she should take her home to get some sleep. She’ll bring her back in the morning if she still wants to see her kids. Ric helps her up, and Willow asks where she goes. She can’t go to Drew’s or Nina’s… she doesn’t have a home.
Inside, Michael explains to Wiley that Mommy is upset, but not with him. He tells his son that Mommy had a bad day, she didn’t marry Uncle Drew, and she’s very sad. She forgot she can’t see him right now. Wiley asks if his mom will get in trouble? Michael says she won’t, and remember, if he’s worried about or misses his mom, he can talk to him about it.
Liz and Ric take Willow back to Liz’s place. She’s still in a daze that Michael wouldn’t let her see her son, wondering why he would do that.
In the Show’s Final Moments
In Croatia, Britt injects herself in her stomach with a drug before turning into bed. She then says, “Goodnight, Mutter,” as she turns in.
After getting Obrecht to her room, Jason returns to the bar and finds she left her purse. He thinks about seeing Britt in Paris and her bag with the logo on it. He then pulls out his phone to search for Dubrovnik and comes up with The Five Poppies Resort.
At home, Alexis admits to Kristina that she feels bad discouraging Molly from the one man she’s been interested in since TJ. Kristina says Molly deserves better, and she’ll forget all about Cody.
In her room, Molly begins writing out a new hero, who is a surgeon, clean shaven, has glasses, is insightful, and HONEST (all in caps).
At the Q’s, Drew returns to the foyer, saying Willow isn’t here and asks Tracy where she is. Tracy says somewhere he hopefully can’t find, as she doubts Willow wants to see him ever again.
In the living room, Yuri tells Martin that Monica is a wonderful woman, and they have bonded over their life similarities. They both come from meager beginnings. Martin is surprised she told him about her life before the Qs.
Tracy calls Yuri back out into the foyer and asks him to toss Drew out. Drew says he will go on his own, and he and Martin depart.
At the pool, Portia tells Nina that Willow could still come around, and this separation might not last forever. Nina hopes so, but her consolation is that she’s broken free from Drew’s spell. Curtis feels that it could be temporary, and Drew’s ego is too big to let her go. Without Willow, Drew would have to face who he’s become. He may be able to manipulate Willow again and get her back.
At her place, Liz gives Willow some sleeping pills and tells her that she’s safe here and can stay as long as she needs to figure things out. Willow has figured things out. Drew is a terrible person, and now that she’s left him, she and Michael are on the same side, and she’ll be able to see her kids again. Willow says this in a very calm and monotone voice.
At Carly’s, Michael puts Wiley to bed, and Carly asks her son what happened. Michael tells her that Willow found out Drew was sleeping with Nina while they were supposedly falling in love. Carly is stunned and says that the woman is unbelievable. Nina could have ended this whole nightmare if she had told Willow the truth long ago. Carly rants that Nina kept her mouth shut to protect her own ass, and look at the damage she’s done.
Michael admits he’s never seen Willow this desperate. Carly asks where his head is. He plans to follow the judge’s orders, and he doesn’t know if he can let Willow near the kids again, as she is out of control.
On the next General Hospital, Laura warns Lulu she’s making a mistake, and Michael confronts Drew, while Nina turns to Ric for help.
