Bill is hoping to make an even bigger splash by using the Hope for the Future diamond to his advantage.

Is the Hope for the Future diamond about to go missing?
Over a decade ago, Wyatt staged a stunt that involved stealing the diamond himself and planting it on some prospective thieves.
It led to Wyatt playing the hero, getting the diamond back and generating a ton of Hope for the Future publicity in the process.
It’s possible Bill could orchestrate another stunt like that, especially since Wyatt has a replica, too.
With two diamonds – one real and one fake – in the mix, it’s easy to see the potential for trouble here.
Chaos could erupt if the Hope for the Future diamond goes missing from Hope’s big event, but will it be a genuine theft or just a charade that’s meant to give sales a boost?
It might even be a bit of both if this turns out to be a publicity stunt that goes wrong.
Bill might arrange for the faux gem to get “stolen” before realizing a true thief has gotten away with the original instead.
Panic could break out for the Spencers if a mysterious character pulls a switcheroo and they get left with the much-less-valuable replica.
The Forresters might get blamed in the aftermath – or maybe even framed if this turns out to be one of Bill’s dirty tricks after all.
Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) wouldn’t approve, but Bill always does whatever he wants anyway.
