The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, June 24: Matt’s Romantic Play for Phyllis – Nick Tempted by Drugs

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, June 24, reveal that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will hope to charm Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) into going on a date with him.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will also find that his drug struggle is far from over, so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.

For starters, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will once again push Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to confess her true medical issues to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Nikki is trying to make Victor believe her headaches are just related to the stress she’s been under, but he can tell there’s more to the story.

Victoria may point that out to Nikki as she makes another attempt to get through to her mom.

It’d be better if Victor knew about Nikki’s brain mass and the risk of blindness, but Nikki will stand her ground for now.

In the meantime, Nick will deal with some drug temptation.

If Nick finds out what Nikki’s up against, that could certainly be a factor in why Nick’s tempted to head back down a terrible road with fentanyl.

On a lighter note, it looks like Matt will ask Phyllis on a date and address the lingering spark between them.

Although Phyllis betrayed Matt when she handed him over to the Newmans, he knows things were complicated due to his past and the situation she was stuck in.

Now Matt is facing a Newman-related dilemma of his own, so he may relate to Phyllis even more.

Matt will apparently be ready to explore a romance with Phyllis and will hope she’s on board with the idea.

At some point, Phyllis and Matt will visit The Shadow Room, where they’ll have a tense encounter with Noah Newman (Lucas Adams).

It seems Phyllis will try to promote peace as Noah pushes Matt’s buttons and works to get a reaction out of him.
