General Hospital Spoilers: Lucas Reveals Britt Doesn’t Have Huntington’s, New Test Results Change Everything
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that things aren’t as they seem when it comes to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and her medical problems.
The last few years of Britt’s life have been drastically shaped by the revelation that she had the marker for Huntington’s, but she’s about to learn she’s been duped.
GH fans know Britt’s Huntington’s disease was used to control her and get her to cooperate on the cold fusion project.
Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) forced Britt to fulfill their demands in exchange for the miracle drug that fought off her symptoms.
However, Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) had a syringe from Britt’s room tested and determined that it had saline in it.
Britt apparently wasn’t receiving some experimental drug at all; this was always a ruse to keep Britt on a tight leash.
Although Joe didn’t identify Britt by name when he questioned Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) about the saline situation, Lucas may have a hunch that he was talking about Britt.
Regardless, Lucas will remain involved in this storyline and the jaw-dropping shocker that’s ahead for Britt.
Britt has been dealing with some hand tremors and just collapsed while on the run with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), but that doesn’t mean her symptoms are the result of Huntington’s.
Britt may be battling another illness that’s easily treatable in the end.
Whatever the case, summer preview spoilers point to a big reveal that gives Britt a second chance to live her life.
Lucas will be the one who delivers news that’s going to change everything for Britt.
Once Britt finds out Cullum and Sidwell were tricking her with saline instead of Huntington’s medication, her mind may immediately go to Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo).
It should leave Britt feeling even worse about Marco’s demise since he was killed for stealing simple saline and not some amazing Huntington’s drug.
That said, Britt will also be relieved when she presumably gets tested for the Huntington’s marker again and learns she doesn’t have it after all.
Britt may have been deceived about that all along, but the important thing is Britt will have an opportunity to live and focus on a real future.
General Hospital spoilers say Britt will have to deal with the fallout of all this runaway Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) drama as well, so some twists and turns are coming up.
