Beyond the Gates Spoilers Friday, June 19: Kat’s Life-Changing Decision – Leslie’s Awful News
Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers for Friday, June 19 reveal that Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Natasha Nixon) will have to make a life-changing decision, while Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) gets some bad news.
After succumbing to a little peer pressure, Kat finally decided to get tested to see if she could be a match for Eva Thomas’s (Ambyr Michelle) life-saving liver transplant on the Thursday, June 18 episode.
There are no viable matches from the immediate family, and as the doctor stated during Thursday’s show, Eva’s blood pressure has dropped, and she may not make it until morning.
All arrows are pointing to the idea that Kat will be Eva’s match, and Kat will have to make a major choice in front of her.
On the June 18 show, she only agreed to get tested … not save her half-sister’s life, so will Kat give the greenlight for the procedure?
In potentially related news, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) provides advice to a granddaughter, so will she talk to Kat and try to reason with her?
She may remind the girl that Dupree women are just built different and always rise to any occasion.
Either way, there’s little chance that Kat will just let Eva die, so it sounds like this transplant could finally bond the estranged half-sisters.
Meanwhile, Leslie will get good news that turns sour, so she’ll likely find out that a donor has been found for Eva, but when she learns that Kat is the one who will save her daughter’s life, she may not be overly happy.
Still, as long as Eva ends up okay, who cares where the liver donation comes from, right?
In other news, the Hawthorne family will rally behind Izaiah Hawthorne (Lami) in his time of need, so he’ll get plenty of love and support from his mom, dad, and brother, Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges).
