Wait, General Hospital’s Scout Has Been Recast *Again*?!

Yes, it’s true! We’re about to see a new Scout on Wednesday’s General Hospital — and this change is completely separate from the news that Drew and Sam’s daughter is being recast and aged up into a teenager! But it’s not quite as unusual as it might seem at first.
According to Soap Opera Digest, Reagan Park will be stepping in to play Scout on a temporary basis. And we do mean temporary, as she’s only set to air on Wednesday, June 17th, as Cosette Abinante — who’s been playing Scout since 2022 was unavailable on that day.
Kayden Brenna Tokarski is still set to take over the role permanently in July, though it will be interesting to see how Scout’s handled before that. Up until now, we’ve thought she was away at camp, which seemed like a good place to keep her until she came back to Port Charles, a bit older than when she left.
Now, though, we can’t help but wonder if Scout popping up will have anything to do with the spoilers teasing Willow being blindsided on Wednesday! Maybe Drew’s daughter comes home and finally realizes something’s not right with dad? No matter the reason, General Hospital has proved time and again that nothing’s going to slow them down. They’ve pretty much mastered the art of the temporary recast.
One of the most recent recasts came when Daniel Cosgrove was snowed in on the east cost, and Patrick Scott Lewis stepped in to keep Ezra on our screens. And Scout’s own mom went through it a number of times before Sam was killed. When Kelly Monaco was unavailable, Lindsey Hartley stepped in not once, not twice, but three separate times!
