As Eva Fights For Her Life, Martin Collapses at Smitty’s Feet!
Despite the tornado having passed, chaos continues to rock the country club. Things aren’t looking good for Eva, and several folks are still missing. Joey makes a hero move by pushing Abby out from under the falling chandelier, and we learn that Victor is already back in Genoa City. (This doesn’t really make sense… did he leave in the middle of Martin’s speech? And has it been at least seven hours since the tornado hit, which is how long it would have taken Victor to get home?) Meanwhile, As Andre is worrying about Dani, she and Bill are making love in the elevator!
Kyle Gets A Warning!
Seeing Kyle and Hayley emerge from the closet, Anita immediately senses something brewing between them. She coldly tells Hayley that Bill is still missing. Once the troublemaker exits, Anita offers Kyle a word of warning: “Hayley may act sweet as sugar, but she is a two-faced, gold-digging, husband-stealing viper! When you get home, be grateful for the miles between Genoa City and Fairmont Crest!”
Eva Fights For Her Life!
Ted and Shanice take a break from helping people — including Martin, who is on the road to recovery and urged to go to the hospital — to catch up with one another. Nicole lays into Leslie before eventually realizing they are both worried about their missing daughters. Jacob and Izaiah combine forces to mount a rescue of Kat and Eva. As Eva’s being taken to the hospital, Leslie blasts Kat, wanting to know why she’s perfectly fine while her daughter is fighting for her life.
Dani and Bill’s Dirty Little Secret
Reeling from the guilt of what they did, Bill and Dani vow to keep this secret. She rushes to the ballroom and reunites with Andre and the rest of her family. Bill claims to have been trapped in a stairwell, which Hayley finds suspicious given that he doesn’t have a spec of dust on him. And when Kyle stops by to say farewell to Hayley, Bill seems to pick up on the chemistry between them. Dani insists that they take Andre to the hospital to have his injuries checked out. Before they leave, Andre unintentionally makes Dani feel even guiltier by telling her he never knew it was possible to love someone as much as he does her.
Around the Club
Jack thanks Joey for having rescued Abby. Seeing the men talking, Smitty brings Jack over to Martin. The husbands warn Jack that Joey is a man to be avoided. • Anastasia goes from shellshocked to her usual snide self, thanks to a few drinks. • Leslie is surprised when Vernon puts aside their differences to try and offer her comfort. • Once the roads are cleared, the Genoa City crew head for the airport. • Martin wants nothing more than to go home, but Smitty insists they go to the hospital. Martin waves off the suggestion, insisting he’s fine… only to then collapse at his hubby’s feet!
Tomorrow on Beyond the Gates, Bill and Dani are going to have to deal with a whole lot of questions… not to mention their own guilt!
