Katie Drops a Bomb on Will — and RJ Catches Dylan’s Attention

At the beach house, Will and Electra are set for a morning swim, but pause to recap that they’re not going to be working together. He doesn’t regret punching RJ and recaps that he cried to his parents and had him fired. He’ll always protect her.
They dress for work, canoodle and talk about Will’s first day at Spencer/Logan. Electra promises to text him all day and pouts about not seeing him at Forrester and sneaking kisses. Will’s just glad he gets to come home to her every night.
Playing Hooky
Dylan and RJ arrive at Bikini Bar for breakfast. He told his dad they’d be in late and notes they have a lot in common now that Will and Electra are “WE” again. He tries unsuccessfully to convince her they shouldn’t be together. She wants them to be happy.
Sitting, RJ turns on the charm with Dylan, noting that they’re both single. They’re not wearing necklaces… like Will and Electra. They joke about being single and lonely together. Forgetting about Will and Electra for all of five seconds, they compliment each other. Then Dylan notes that ideally, they’d be with Will and Electra. But she’s grateful for her job and her friendship with Electra.
Raging Bill
At Logan, Bill and Katie enthuse about having Will out from under Ridge’s thumb at Forrester. As talk turns to Brooke, Katie updates Bill on their skirmish, “She slapped me.”
Bill erupts into a rage, ready to head to Forrester for a confrontation, but Katie tells him she outfoxed her sister. She promised to use only Spencers at Logan. He grins, “Like Hope Spencer.” She purrs, “Exactly.” They cackle over Hope being a full-blown Spencer. Katie knows Brooke will still blow up. Just then, Will walks in. Bill chortles, “Our boy, in the house!”
Sinking Ship
At Forrester, Ridge and Brooke canoodle as they discuss Eric coming back. Brooke hopes it will drown out the noise about Katie and Logan. Ridge grunts that their company is a sinking ship so there’s nothing to fight about. Brooke admits they got into it again.
After getting the lowdown, Ridge decides that Brooke had every reason to slap Katie. Guess she won’t be getting fired like Will. Brooke tells him she got her sister to agree to no more poaching of any Forresters (but not Spencers!).
As Brooke and Ridge move onto Will’s firing, Electra walks in. She understands that they felt like their hands were tied, but she can’t help but feel responsible.
The Final Scenes
At Bikini, RJ continues on his headache-inducing theme. He’s worried about Electra because Will’s a Spencer, basically. Dylan counters that she’ll always care about Will. She wishes things could be different, but what can you do? RJ shrugs that they’ll have to move on. They agree to support each other and shake hands. RJ’s touch seems to affect Dylan, who gets that dreamy look in her eyes.
At Forrester, the filler conversations continue as Brooke and Ridge assure Electra that it wasn’t her fault that Will punched RJ. Ridge didn’t want to let him go, but he left him no choice. Brooke thinks it’s for the best and decides to tell Electra that Katie agreed not to poach anymore Forresters now that she has Will.
At Logan, Will vows to help make the fashion house the best that it can be. Katie enthuses, “Lots of surprises.” Will thinks his mom is a badass. She needed to hear that given her issues with Brooke. The Spencers are united and nothing can stop them. Bill heads to a meeting and Katie tells him they’re set for an in-house preview. Warning that what she’s about to tell him is top-secret, Katie says the new designer is Hope. “You can’t say a word to anyone. Not even Electra.” Oooo. We wonder why Will didn’t point out that Hope’s not a designer. Oh, well!
