General Hospital Just Added a New Legacy Teen — and If She’s Anything Like Her Mother, Watch Out!

It looks like Drew may have his hands full when he finally returns to the land of the moving on General Hospital. Because his and Sam’s daughter, Scout, is about to grow up! Played by Cosette Abinante since 2022, Soap Opera Digest reports that Kayden Brenna Tokarski will be taking over the role come July as the show’s SORASing (Soap Opera Rapid Aging) the youngster into a teen.
In fact, Willow and Alexis were just talking about Scout, mentioning that she was away at sleepaway camp, so it seems like the perfect time to bring her back a little older. Though born back in 2017, Scout’s new portrayer is 16 years old, which, as any daytime viewer knows, is prime trouble age on soap operas!
Pretty sure this is going to leave a mark on Scout!
While Scout was supposed to be living with Willow and Drew, she’s been spending a lot of time with her grandmother, Alexis. And though we don’t know the exact timing of Drew finally being freed from his locked-in state, we’re guessing Scout will be very angry with her “Wicked Stepmother” for keeping her dad trapped and paralyzed!
Between that and Sam’s death, we wouldn’t be surprised if we’re about to see a summer of Scout acting out and raising hell in Port Charles. Our hope is that she gets more of her mom’s, let’s say, good-natured rebellious nature than her dad’s scumminess. (That’s the technical term, right?)
While this is Tokarski’s first soap role, she’s been acting since she was 10, with a long list of credits already to her name. We’re sure she’s going to do just fine joining the General Hospital family!
