Wyatt’s Shauna Shocker Absolutely Stuns Bill and Liam — Plus, Ridge Chooses Between R.J. and Will

nhập ở đây

As the episode begins, Will and Electra are still discussing her moving into the beach house with an eagerness that borders on codepency. At Brooke’s, R.J. is still blathering on about his romantic rival with an intensity that should get him booked for a few sessions on Taylor’s couch. At Spencer, Bill is still blah blah blah’ing to Wyatt about the HFTF diamond. And at the Forrester mansion — don’t worry, Eric’s out — Donna is still urging Hope to tear up her contract and forget about going to work for Logan. Basically, we’re exactly where we left off Wednesday.

R.J. Gives Ridge the Easiest Choice In the World

After the opening credits, we finally move on… barely. At Brooke’s, R.J. refuses to be satisfied with Ridge’s promise to give Will a talking-to over the sucker punch. R.J. wants Will fired, dang it, and he’ll keep saying so till it happens. “A guy like that is a liability to the company,” R.J. says. And what about an obsessive stalker-y type like you, R.J.? You’re what, an asset?

Thankfully, Ridge expresses the rare-for-him scintilla of sense. “I can’t just fire Will because you two like the same girl,” he says, adding that he wouldn’t send Will off to work with his awful father in any case. Well, “it’s me or him, Dad,” R.J. says. And honestly, what could be an easier choice to make? Ridge should tell R.J. to shove off and grow up, and keep Will on as Forrester Chief Intern in Charge of Swatch-Organizing.

‘Wilectra’ Celebrate in G-Rated Fashion

At the beach house, as if there was ever any question that she would, Electra says that yes, of course, she’ll move in. She never wants to spend another moment apart from Will. So now that that’s settled, do they celebrate by making love? Nope, they’d prefer to go for a night swim.

Afterwards, an outdoor shower finally gets these two in the mood. Electra fondles Will’s… necklace, the camera goes blurry, and the next thing we know, they’re sitting around talking about how awesome it will be to work together and live together. Needless to say, they are jinxing themselves big time!

Hope Anticipates ‘a Brighter Future’

At the Forrester mansion, Donna is horrified to learn that Hope already told her mother that she is taking a leave of absence. “If you go down this path,” Donna warns, “there may not be a way back.” Donna, if Hope could come back after the coup, there is always a way back! But I digress.

Once again, Hope swears her aunt to secrecy about her new job. Because secrecy worked so well where Eric’s stint at Logan was concerned! “I’m not trying to create some huge conflict,” Hope says. But she’s unsatisfied with the support that she’s gotten from her mother and excited about the prospect of “a brighter future” at Logan. “Maybe my line will be the crown jewel of Katie’s fashion house.”

Without Thomas as lead designer? Doubtful.

Wyatt’s Now Friends With… Shauna?

At Spencer, Bill insists to Wyatt that he isn’t causing drama, he’s supporting Katie. But neither Wyatt nor Liam buy that; they know Bill not only loves drama, he seeks it out. Somehow, the tycoon thinks that it will be bigger news if Logan announces Hope’s hiring and the acquisition of the HFTF diamond at the same — as if the bauble is a splashier headline than Hope’s defection? Huh?

When Wyatt suggests that maybe, just maybe people are acting erratically, Bill and Liam shrug off his concerns. So will Wyatt get the diamond for Daddy? Bill will find a spot for him at the company if he does. (When did Wyatt get a job of his own, anyway?)

Shortly, Bill and Liam are shocked when into the office walks Shauna, who Wyatt explains gave him a ride. (His car’s in the shop, and he’s never heard of Lyft.) In short order, Wyatt discloses that things didn’t work out with Felony Flo (hallelujah!), and Shauna reminds Bill that she used to run some high-end boutiques, so maybe he’d like to let her in on the ground floor of Logan.

Ridge Gives In to R.J.’s Ultimatum

In the episode’s final moments, Bill tries to wrap his brain around the fact that Wyatt and Shauna have been palling around in Vegas. For her part, she seizes the opportunity to try to sell herself as a valuable assistant to Katie, teasing, “You still like money, don’t you, Dollar Bill?”

Quickly, Wyatt tells Shauna that Bill will be in touch if he’s interested and he himself will think about Dad’s offer. “What just happened?” Bill asks Liam after they exit. The show just got a whole lot more fun is what, I think. Have you ever watched a scene that Darin Brooks couldn’t liven up?

Back at Brooke’s, R.J. gets Ridge to promise to “deal with this” Will situation at the office the following day. In other words, the brat has worn Daddy down, and he’ll pink-slip Will. As Ridge exits, R.J. just lies there, daydreaming about Will being shown the door.
