The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, May 29: Diane’s Disappearance – Kyle’s Scary News – Troublemaker Patty
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 29, reveal that Diane Jenkins Abbott’s (Susan Walters) vanishing act will cause concern.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will warn Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that something isn’t right while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) tries to put Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) in her place.
The last time Y&R fans saw Diane, she left Jack a hopeful voicemail and had a horrible dream about him moving on with Patty.
Alas, Jack hasn’t mentioned that message and obviously didn’t receive it.
It’s possible Diane misunderstood the situation and took that as a rejection.
That would give Diane another reason to push Jack away and shut herself off from everyone.
However, it’s also possible that Patty is up to her old tricks and has potentially abducted Diane.
That theory may soon be on Jack’s mind after Kyle admits Diane has basically fallen off the face of the earth.
Kyle will acknowledge that Diane hasn’t been at the office or sleeping in her bed, so he’ll feel like something is off here.
Once Jack realizes Diane could truly be missing, it may not be long until he points the finger at Patty.
In the meantime, Phyllis will school Patty on some history and perhaps warn that her Jack reunion goals are destined to fail.
Regardless of what happens with Diane, Phyllis may insist Jack will never truly believe Patty’s rehabilitated.
Phyllis may argue that goes for everyone else in Genoa City as well and urge Patty to just leave town if she knows what’s good for her.
Of course, Patty won’t agree to bail on GC, so all her troublemaker tactics will continue!
In the aftermath of Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) overdose, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will team up to convince him that he can’t handle his addiction alone.
Nick needs to start rehab as soon as possible and work on putting his life back together.
Nikki and Victor may get Nick to admit they’re right since he nearly died in Phyllis’ office.
At some point, Nick will face Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) in the Newman workout room, where Matt will be Victor’s captive.
That’ll bring a tricky situation for Nick, who’ll have to thank Matt for saving his life while remaining furious over his past transgressions.
