Hope Digs In Her Heels
We may not be 100-percent sure what exactly Hope does for her line other than supply the first word of its name, but she’s 1,000-percent committed to it. In fact, she’ll soon remind Liam that the line is her pride and joy. That being the case, she is determined to fight for its continuation.
Technically speaking, Hope has already begun to do just that — by setting up mom Brooke to ask hubby Ridge to give her the co-CEO position that is currently occupied by his daughter, Steffy. Yeah, if you think this is gonna get nasty, you’re 1,000,000-percent right!
Steffy Digs In Her Heels, Too
Ridge must know when he approaches Steffy with the idea of giving up her power and job title that it isn’t going to go well. Nonetheless, he takes on the fool’s errand and is told in no uncertain terms that hell no, Steffy will not be relinquishing her role at her grandfather’s company to her wicked stepmother.
Zende’s Mad as Hell
Meanwhile, Zende seemed perfectly happy to accept the bread crumbs that Eric and Ridge threw his way, saying he could be the third wheel on the couture line. But apparently, beneath his calm demeanor, he’s been fuming all this time.
Speaking privately with Carter, Zende rages that he worked long and hard on a whole line for Hope For the Future, and now it didn’t seem like it was ever going to see the light of a runway. Hmm… Could he wind up jumping ship when Hope inevitably does?
