Bold & Beautiful Shocker: Luna, Is That Really You?

First there was that menacing phone call that Miss Dylan received. Then there was the Bold & Beautiful sneak-preview video in which someone emerged from behind a wardrobe rack and left her screaming bloody murder. Who else could it be but the indestructible Luna, right? Even Poison Ivy wouldn’t inspire that big a reaction!

How Can Luna Possibly Be Alive?

As viewers are well aware, Luna is already dead twice over. Or should we say “dead” in air quotes? First, Sheila’s homicidal granddaughter was said to have croaked following the shootout at Hayes’ summer school (aka the beach house). Then, we were assured that she had been fatally squashed by onetime hostage Miss Dylan while trying to escape from the authorities.

But fans are also well aware that we never saw Luna’s body. There was no funeral. No nothing. Sounds fishy, doesn’t it? Executive producer/headwriter Bradley Bell has sworn that the villainess is gone for good. (Read exactly what he said here.) The trouble is, made the same definitive claims when Finn and Sheila “died” — and they’re as right as rain.

What Does Luna Want With Dylan?

Other than Finn and Poppy’s daughter, we can’t imagine who would garner such a terrified response from Dylan. Remember, Luna scared the living daylights out of the former schoolteacher by tying her up in a closet at gunpoint. Plus, Dylan was wracked with guilt at having run down Finn’s daughter. Dylan wouldn’t just feel like she was seeing a ghost; in a way, she would be seeing a ghost!

So if Luna has cheated death once again, what could she want from Dylan? Perhaps the remorseless conniver who killed Tom and Hollis (and tried to do the same to Steffy) is going to play on Dylan’s conscience to get closer to Will. But, knowing the psycho’s history with the buff beach bunny, would Dylan help her in any way, thereby putting her crush in danger? Highly doubtful — unless, that is, Luna is holding something over her head.
