First Look at Young & Restless Alum’s Beautiful New Baby — Plus, Dad’s Priceless Reaction

Baby news has been in the air this week. First, we received word that The Bold and the Beautiful and Young & Restless alum Matthew Atkinson’s (Thomas, ex-Austin) wife Brytnee is expecting their second child, now we send congrats to another former Genoa City star, Jason Canela (ex-Arturo). The actor and his wife Jana just welcomed their second baby, a little boy.

Canela posted various photos following the birth of Jovani, who was born on April 20, and shared a special message to his wife. “That miraculous feeling is back and it’s more powerful than ever. Thank you Jana for being so incredibly strong and for giving our Jovani the most beautiful and fastest welcome into this world,” the actor expressed and went on to state, “Seeing you as a mother of two, devoted and fierce, is my greatest pride.” He then thanked their family and friends for “the endless love” they’ve given them along the way.

When it comes to the couple’s daughter, who was born in February of 2023, Canela added, “Jovie Rose has a best friend for life, and I have another soul to protect and love forever.” And to his “baby boy,” he vowed, “I promise to always be there for you, just like I am for your big sister and your smoking hot mother. All glory to God.”
